Cute story, but I am confused. Will the future events they overheard now change that they have altered the events with an earlier relationship?
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. As it stands, this story is not going to be continued. I DID have an idea for a sequel but I didn't want to take away from this fic. It works well as a stand alone. As for the future events... everything will change because of their relationship now. And for the better. *grins* |

i really wish there was more to this story - it seemed like you just got started and then poof - it was done! it was an original idea and i always love it when joyce sticks up for buffy and spike. very well written indeed but again, wish there was much more. thanks for sharing it with us.

Awe :) Buffy stopped lying and accepted that Spike loves her and she has feelings for him too. And good to know that there will possible be a sequel :-)

Buffy lying about the message from the PTB and leaving Joyce to tell the gang was in character and added just a dash of angst to this. This story was light and funny, and I love a happy ending.

Loved the ending-- Poor Spike having the pay the heavy price of shacking up with the Slayer. I would DEFINITELY love to see a MUCH longer sequel, with much spuffiness, and as Anya put it, with "many orgasms." And way to self-pimp! Looking foward to reading more.
Author's Response: I'm glad you did like the ending, I was quite proud of this little fic! A sequel has been planned for a while but unfortunately actulally writing it hasn't happened. But it will, eventually, when I get some of my WIP's finished. Thanks for the review!

A marvelous little fic and a superb beginning should your muse decide to extend this one in the future. Love Joyce as the conduit and the way the powers should have known it would only take a little prodding from mom. Fabulous, and would so be into a sequel. Thanks for sharing.

Definitely want more. I was a bit disappointed to read that you were ending it so quickly. That said, you did wrap up this section quite well, and they can now move on from here.

How are Spike and Buffy going to react to the re-cap? This was an entertaining couple of chapters. I grinned throughout Buffy's petulant stomping and weapon cleaning.

Just one more chapter? How are they getting to where they need to be with just one more?
They still have to sort out what they heard....and Buffy could still push it to the back of her mind and be denial girl....Joyce has work to do...we know that....
Love what you did with Anya - of course she would know. And Willow not completely with the judgemental - very cool.
