Wonderful story! Eerily accurate portrayal of how strong women can become the victim, and how their healthy outlook about themselves can change so drasticallly. I hope if anyone recognizes themself in this story, they realize there is help out there for the asking.
On the lighter side, it was great to visualize all these characters getting along for once (not that I don't enjoy Riley bashing or Angel), but Parker Slime had no redeeming qualities. |

I just want to say that not only do i like this story a lot..but also i Especially loved the last few lines of every chapter. you nailed it. the last line left me with just the right feeling that encompassed each chapter.

| This was a really great story. Very emotional. I felt so bad for Buffy, but I'm glad that she stood up to that jerk Parker, and that she had Spike by her side, helping her. :) Very awesome fic, I really enjoyed it. |

| It pained me to read Buffy in such a weakened state. But I loved the fact that being with Spike made her seem like her old self. I'm glad Parker got what he deserved. And that Buffy and Spike are happy. |

| A perfect ending - Parker in jail, Spike and Buffy declaring their feelings. This story was a roller coaster of angst and trauma leading to a very happy ending. |

| This is the first time I've gotten a chance to review your final chapter!
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed reading this. Even though it was not always 'pleasant' since the subject is not ever pleasant.
(Except the Spuffy stuff of course!)
You wrote the plot and characters with such much thought and honesty that I caught myself crying from time to time.
This was an amazing story.

I just read your story and thought it was really good. It was different to the ones i usually read but i think the way you described buffy and spikes thoughts was really good. It really showed the insecurities of ppl in abusive relationships. I'm glad parker was sent to prison and that they ended up together. |

| Super fabulous study into the psyche of an abused women and more props for being able to convincingly bring her out of it... though maybe that credit goes to Spike, who is naturally wonderful. A fine ending so such an emotionally moving and captivating ride. Thanks for sharing this with all of us. |

| Way to go new and improved Buffy! Stupid wanker Parker was so sure she would never get him that he just bared all his darkness to her. I hope Parker ends up in a cell with a big fat red neck to make his just understand a little bit of the unpleasantness that he put upon his girls. A very fulfilling chapter. |
