Started reading this one ages ago and lost it. So glad to have found it archived here. Absolutely outstanding. I find all your characterisations completely believable. So I saw you've left loose ends for the sequel so I went straight on to read that one... so I'll just go and review that one now...

oh my goodness... what a story... you- are awesome, the story- awesome, the sequel? - coming soon i hope. you did what i always hope to do with my story, which is actually capture the characters in all their Buffy-verse glory. Awesome, just.... .... awesome. As a side bar... your beta wouldn't happen to be available for more betaing, huh? Mine had to call it quits and that inhibits any further story production on my part, seeing as how my fingers tend to get to flyin' and i miss quite a few mistakes in my haste. Have you seen "Spaced" by any chance? If you have, I like that you've set it in Meteor Street and that the place is three stories. If not, you should watch it! It's funny and Tim prays to Buffy instead of God! Anyways, liking it so far, gonna read the rest now. Bye!

Author's Response: I completely love "Spaced"! That's absolutely what I've based their 'Flat' on. In the first chapter, Xander mentions that Buffy's dating a guy named Tim... it's the same Tim. Glad you're liking it so far and thanks!

I just finished reading all 33 fantastic chapters. Great story, the is Spike really there or is this some unwitting spy was very effectively done. Now I have to go back and see if any of the weird things he said make sense with hindsight ;-) The story kept me riveted and now I'm off to read the sequel.

And there I wondered why there was a new story in the RSS feed (because the site was down, I did only see it through my LJ :) On to read the last part now ~ Oh.. William wants to go but Buffy won't let him but has trouble to give him a reason not to go. But I'm glad he had reason enough to stay even Buffy didn't voice it. And Angel couldn't stand seeing them together, huh? Wonder if his mark starting to burn has a meaning ~ Till the next story!

I love hearing him sing...anyway, now they can back off for a bit. Poor Lorne...he's seen way too much in his days...

And how did Angel get the inside track? He seems to know what's going on all too well, here. It's creepy.

Nice touch showing Buffy the past. Daughters of the Nephilim? Doesn't exactly comfort me....

I savor every chapter and wait impatiently for my next taste.
