I really like this story and I am fully behind wherever and whatever your motivations and ultimate reasoning behind William's behavior is, but I have to say here, at this point in the tale, that he is being very stalkerish and showing a real lack of respect for Buffy as an individual with her own wants and needs. He is just so selfish right now. A more appropriate response to her skittishness would be to woo her, but instead he browbeats her and demands she respond to his attentions as he desires rather than as she feels herself. And I understand how she would be put off by the whole 'taken in a hallway' without even dating, and he seems so inconsiderate of her need to be dated and treated like she is special and not just somehow fated to be with him because he believes it to be so. I know there's also the stepsibling issue and her past with men that stand in her way, but he just is showing such a lack of respect for her needs and issues here. Now, I'm not complaining about you writing him that way, it makes for an interesting story. I'm just saying he's being a jerk and then turning around and laying his jerkiness on HER, telling her she is being a child and running away etc when she tries to distance herself and find her own mind about all of this. It's so 'don't worry about what you think and feel little lady, I've already thought it all out for you and will tell you how to feel and what to do, you don't need to worry your pretty little head about it at all'. I guess what I'm saying is he's crossing lines here for me, and I want to smack him right now. Keep up the great work, I appreciate the way you keep writing all these stories and updating them frequently. I can always rely upon you for a good new tale to keep me going. Happy Thanksgiving. :-)

They're so cute--and I loved the little flashback; it really showed their relationship even before everything that happened at the start of this story (and I swear I had a better point than that makes it sound like)......anyway, it's 1am and I really shouldn't be talking or typing or anything so I'll shush now and go to sleep--but I really do love this story (if me making a banner for it didn't already hint at the fact ;))
