Excited to see a new chapter of this story! I liked this little moment with the ring and how Buffy could relate it back to her own life. I also liked the continued reveals of Spike's complicated relationship with Oliver. I see Buffy and Spike are still in their tangles and I hope that they're slowly moving away from the misunderstandings and to someting more stable :)

Oh and have an awesome time at the Soundgarden concert! I saw them many years ago but I'm sure they're still fantastic.

I still have to read dust. One of these days I'll come around doing that.

no reason to agonise about the ch, i bet other reviewrs alrady told you as much. i'm actually writing this review because i wanted to thank you. you are setting S/B relationship to rights, slowly but surely. it's coming along nicely and i'm glad i stuck with it. i guess i don't hate B as much now that i understand her better. still curious about oliver though. i hope you'll update soon because I'll probably read all 30 ch through tonight.

ok, so far, Spike's getting better. I see a personality that has got some self respect. there's just one thing that buggs me. either Spike is bipolar or Buffy understands chit about him. In some chapters she sees him as a volatile celebrity having fits, then she talks of him as a modest person, then she thinks about how childish and vulnerable he is. I think that Buffy has no idea whatsoever who the hell Spike is, because all these puzzle pieces do not really match. In real life they would I guess, but as I read it here, it does not make sense to me. I hope Buffy will some day understand what is really going on or I'll personally come and hit her over the head with something.

interesting story so far. but does spike have to be the rug under any woman's feet? first dru and now buffy. hell, the guy's a true masochist and don't tell me it's love. it's not. love does not make people into slaves. spike is just very weak-willed. i think he needs professional help. buffy's not gonna help him at this point, she's not really nice and for my part i don't understand how an independent woman can like a man that's not really even a person? i hope you'll make spike into a man before the story ends. right now he's really pathetic.

Some caffeine was a good decision *g* with Spike so tired. But even if that wasn't Dru's intention, at last Spike feels ready to sing now *g*. If she only knew it was her 'fault' she would be angry. ;-)
And what more could Buffy say? Nothing I think. She can only try and do her best, as Spike will do, going out to the stage and sing :)

Yay! So glad to see an update and it was a great one. I really loved how Spike ended up using the adrenaline to go on with the show. And that Dru, I wonder what she'll pull next. Looking forward to more!
