i was hoping the baby would get put into buffy before he was taken, but no such luck. i didn't think he would just disappear like that, i hope nothing happens to the baby. i have to admit that this is pretty weird, a part of me really hopes that buffy will eventually be carrying the baby because i can't imagine spike giving birth. i don't even know how he would be able to do that.
Author's Response: Spike's not going to give birth. That would just be...icky and complicated. Way too complicated. There'd have to be a cesarean and Spike's abs would really be shot all to hell...

Oh that was fun! Buffy's 'You stole my baby' till Spike fainting. :-D
So Spike has to keep the baby for at last six month. Buffy will have the hardest trimester. ~ Oh! When with the pills their bodies will be in sync then Buffy will get to know the pregnancy like it would be her own.
Heh heh, Xander was the first to figure it out that Spike is the one that is pregnant.

How on earth did it get transferred to Spike? Oh, goodness.......and Buffy reacted as expected, with the You stole my baby! bit.....poor Spike.......men have thicker tougher skin, so hopefully he won't have a problem with the stretch marks, unless his belly pops very suddenly overnight. Where is the baby sitting, by the way, and getting nourishment? Ooo! He's going to need a lot of human food........
At least the transfer will be done magically, as I don't think Spike wants a scar across his belly for a Cesarean. Buffy getting a third trimester baby....wow, that'd be really weird, just suddenly having all that! And she's gonna be the crazy pregnant lady, LOL.
Glad Xander's enjoying this so much. He can be next!!

Ah yes, the doctor's appointment. Buffy is very nervous indeed. Sheila is a good nurse. Buffy didn't even notice that she took some blood :)
And a big shock for Buffy: Spike is! Therefore the craving for real food and the body functions. So he can assure a living environment where the baby can grow. Wow, that pregnancy will sure be different :)

no, why did you have to do that? i was starting to get worried that he might be pregnant, but i told myself that was ridiculous and wouldn't happen. i really wish i was right. i wanted buffy to be pregnant and spike hopefully turning human, this just ruins everything for me. it was an okay story before that, but i don't know if i will be continuing now. maybe i'll give one more chapter a chance, but spike being pregnant is just too weird for me.
Author's Response: Nah, Spike as a human in a non AU fic? Doesn't work, he's too awesome as a vampire. And if it's not your cup of tea, then it's not your cup of tea.
