Loved this chapter and I kinda had a 50/50 bet on the fact that Spike was lying... like them odds LOL.. I understand where he is coming from and have no sympathy for Buffy in this... she has used and abused him and I can understand that he needs to protect himself, great that he has grown a pair, just a shame that he is going to be caught in a lie.... I don't like how everybody is getting mad at Spike. I mean Buffy treated him like crap. You just expect him to stay and take that. Also, Spike is in love with her and it is hard to be around someone who treats you like that.

I like this story. But i don't like it is all spike's fault and he is one that needs to go begging to Buffy again.

Gilly I can't compliment you enough on your writing , very few can get people as riled up as you do, i've read the reviews you been getting and I don't think you should ever take all the grumbling as anything but a compliment . We readers do a lot of complaining about a story line sometimes because some chapters shock us,but I hope I speak for eveyone when i say "You take us on some terrific ride, Girl". Please keep on , I can't wait to find out how Spike gets out of this one.

Your KILLING ME with this story, absolutely KILLING ME, that fact that you can get me riled up attest to how great a writer you are. I think know what your doing here but don't want to ruin your surprises by hypothesizing.i didn't like the way Buffy reacted, but it makes sense, I would have preferred being big about it all and making him feel like shit . Him i just want to slap upside the head, Dawn had'nt opened her mouth he might have said something else , hint hint. Hope you had a good holiday and update again soon . Have to let you know that this is THE best story going. So so glad to see your update! Hope real life isn't getting in the way of your writing. You have a wonderful imagination and a great way of creating and consequently treating your characters. They really come to life so beautifully.

This update was wonderful ... wish it was longer (as in 10 chapters longer). I love the fact that you actually had Spike attempt to move on with his life and also stop Buffy when she attempted to hit him. Bravo for you. No more martyr Spike ! This will be great from here on out I can tell. Well, that, and it is one of your stories of course...
