If I had thought about the last chapter a lot? Yeah, I did. I tried to understand the prophecy but English isn't my first language. I think the prophecy is the key. In it is the solution. I just don't see it yet. But maybe Buffy will live a bit longer here. ~
Buffy agreed to hear Spike out. Should be an interesting story he has to tell. And she really did even if it seemed to be otherwise first.
Oh I can picture that, a mad Spike demanding to speak to the head watcher because they tried to kill him *g*
But with his chip some humans were Spike's doom. Good that the chip is gone now. Interesting question where Buffy's blood did come from. Clever! Only taking the chip out in exchange to a soul. Clever new 'chip' for Spike. And we know now because he has no chip he will probably have that soul.
At the moment Buffy and Spike seems to get along better then before (when Buffy thought he had a mate).
~ There was something I wanted to mention too but at the moment I can't remember. Maybe I remember till next chapter (or it wasn't that important). :)

*g* When Giles couldn't ask someone else he decided to take the bull by the horns and just ask Spike. Joyce must have been very threatening on the phone.
The prophecy the we go. (Just trying to translate it for me: reprises life = to regain life...; Buffy won't die, neither Joyce. But she must watch a love one die and feel the pain of that in order to save other / the ones she loves to end the pain and never love again. One will die, his/her blood spilled.
Ah well I think when this story is over I understand it all. I think there is something with a double meaning again. I just can't think of it.
Because Buffy has to see someone she loves die and never love again doesn't sound very good. Even when they beat this someone in this case Spike will die and Buffy never love again? That doesn't sound good to me. Never loving anybody else (besides Spike) would sound better if he'll survive that.
Oh and it was sure better that Joyce took the stake out of Buffy's hand. After that surprise she's about to get it's better she isn't armed or she'll do something that she'll regret.
Well well they have some things to discuss now. Buffy noticed the lack of the chip but didn't say a word yet about him lying because of the mate thing. (But this way Spike isn't helpless against humans, without the chip.)
Good update though the solution for the prophecy isn't an easy or a good one for Buffy because someone still has to die. If I have more time tomorrow I'll try to read it again and make some more sense of it, if I find a way around it but at the moment I'm clueless.

Her life, full of just bloodshed and gore, she must live again and again, as the power of the slayer is passed to the next potential. They might have found a way to save Dawn, but not they need to save Spike.....oh the possibilities
