I started rereading this when you finished posting. It was definitly worth the wait! I liked the voices. Good plot twists and drive to the story too. I really enjoyed it. Thanks.

So glad they've crossed this one tiny bridge in their relationship. Many things left to figure out, and just because they are in love doesn't mean they are at all prepared to have a healthy relationship, but they seem ready to try. Perhaps the others will offer acceptance, perhaps not. I'm thrilled to know that there will be more to come! Amazing darkness and drama and I still wait for them to make it all the way through to the other side. Thanks for sharing!

I hadn't expected Spike's soul to be pulled back out of him coming through the portal, that's an interesting twist! Love Buffy's weary "we're in love, right?" As if she just needed to have her knowledge confirmed. Can't wait for the sequel....

It's like I know what happened, maybe, but I sure as hell don't know what it means. :) He made it back, or did. And Dehvoret let him go, but what does that mean? What is his plan B? I very interested. Update soon!

I was worried Spike wouldn't jump through! It's going to take a while for him to adjust to his soul. He and Buffy will have to learn to cope together.

Buffy is beginning to open up - that's good. Now then... to get Spike back. Something tells me it's not going to be simple.

Poor Buffy, being victimized by demons is one thing but having her confidence invaded is horrible by those who she thought she could trust. Obviously, Willow and Xander are immature in their hero worship of her and want her to be the epitomy of purity - which doesn't help her to adjust back to her surroundings at all. The episode of where she uses her body as currency for her drug fix to cope with pressures show that she is vulnerable mentally and has yet to deal with what happened to her. Not sure if she should tell Giles of what happened to her, it would be like telling her father of her life in the brothel. Look forward to more.

"Maybe - this was a stupid thought - maybe he'd love her again if he went back to being soulless." A very interesting theory indeed, even though it has been determined on the other side that he still loves her whether he wants to or not. Broken girl just doesn't see through him as well as she used to. Glad that Giles is helpful, in a reasonable, adult way. One can only hope that the others come around and Spike can be brought back safely to her. Cause I can't say for sure that she's gonna make it without him. Please, update soon... er, on the 18th-ish like you said. :)

Almost too easy. Seems like we've got a bunch of good plans in the works, just don't know how it will all pan out until we actually get there. Hope they can squash the bad guy in the process.
