Nice

Well, I have to say, I love this fic very much. Thank you. It starts off in canon and then goes Spuffy, I couldn't ask for anything more! I love the way you used the scene of Buffy and Spike from season 7, just changed the setting a little so it would fit into the fic. I also loved this line - "He had no soul but he showed more love, compassion and mercy then any other creature and person she knew." To me, this is Spike. He didn't lose his humanity when he was turned, though in the early days, he tried so hard to lose it, to ignore it. But he didn't realise was the reason why he tried so hard was because he cared so much. It was shown to him over and over again, and it only intensified when he met Buffy. The way he felt for Joyce and Dawn alone is proof enough.

I always thought Spike and Joyce had more of a bond then was let on in the show, so reading about it was also very nice. It showed Spike's humanity in spades. I love how you worked all these small things together and came up with a wonderful one shot that nails everything on the head. Its the way I think a lot of us would have loved canon to go.

The banner, is beautiful, Kelly did a wonderful job. May I suggest a wallpaper?? The colours are very pretty!!
