The professor was indeed very very lucky that Buffy and Spike saw her; she's too stupid (trustful) for her own good.
Maybe Giles can talk some sense into her.
Spike's reaction when because of him Buffy was hurt said a lot (including getting her ice and being hurt by Buffy's reaction regarding the hand holding).
But what a cliffhanger you've ended with. :)

I definitely like this. Your stories are always so enjoyable. You write the tension between Buffy and Spike very well. I really liked the part where Spike sampled the soldier's blood. It was a good reminder of what exactly he is.

Love how their chemistry gets the better of them. Something so likely to happen, and I love how it happened after he feared losing her. Beautiful. Can't wait to see how far they get to go! Update soon.

Heh heh, making soap? As far as I know it doesn't smell good. I'd rather be not there when they try it.

Professor Inkfel could use another lessons on vamps too if she wants to live longer.
"And that's my girl too," he murmured, putting his arm around her just long enough for it to count as a hug.
"Not your girl," she muttered, leaning into him never the less. :D
Even if in denial if she has feelings for Spike or not, she's showing affection.

I absolutely love the way you're developing this story. The way Buffy acts around Spike (not with the rather nasty casual cruelty she displayed on the show) and accepts his help, encouraging him to work with her instead of constantly belittling him and dismissing his potential, is building a solid foundation for future Spuffiness. I also think you've got it right that Maggie Walsh would have wanted to run lots of tests on Buffy that she didn't on the show - a plotline that I think the writers should have explored and didn't.
Looking forward to developments...

Love how ignorant that Professor is. And I love how bothered Buffy is by her concerns about Spike and the CLB bothering her. Pretty interesting. Lovely chemistry. And I love how resistant they are to Willow doing a spell to make them dislike each other again. Never goin' back. Loving it, please update soon.

I love the way you portray their interactions. I'm also seeing a side of Willow I thought was sorely missing in season 4--best friend. Looking forward to your next update.

It sounds as if a little jealousy got into the way at the begin of the chapter on Buffy's side (part) but she wasn't ready to acknowledge it.
*phew* I'd thought I had to add another story to my 'Buffy gets caught by the Initiative' story list. But only because of Spike helping. He was clever, didn't even get hurt for fighting humans.
Will be interesting to watch (read) how that will change their relationship now.
Looking forward to more.

"Slayer. Vampire."

Love their sadness over their inability to knock each other senseless. And the endless debate of how much violence is appropriate for a vampire and a slayer. And the latter discovery about how the chip makes Spike pretty much like the slayer. Just love the way they interact.

Love the leftover lustiness between Buffy and Spike. And the way Willow is eying it so warily. Not to mention the little aside between Giles and Spike about how they've so easily accepted Anya, whose been much more deadly over the years than Spike. And the fact that Spike seems to actually want to be a part of the gang. And I love how couply they were when they left. Hints of whats to come. Fantastic story. Please, update soon.

I love the conversations especially the part where Spike responds to her comment about staking and vampires being afraid of her. The ice cream was okay but those two moments really tickled me. Looking forward to her seeing his crypt for the first time.
