Author's Response: yeah I agree, in my mind it did, but I'm assuming it wasn't so nice. However I tried to keep Buffy from admitting any real feelings and just appreciating the help as that would be more likely at the time.

Love how sweet they are to each other. Definitely taking a chance on that scary friendship thing, there. Wondering what he'll find upstairs. And how Buffy will feel about his perusing. Update soon.

And I mean this for the best... you may want to double check your grammar and spelling. I found quite a few mistakes in this otherwise wonderful chapter.

Author's Response: I did spell check it and usually my grammer works, but I'll check it. Also this is just a one shot, no more is coming, what he'll find upstairs is in "Shadow" when Riley finds him in Buffy's room, it was meant to be a joke.
