If someone dies wearing it, then I want Angel to have it. I think Buffy will wear it, and be smart enough to take it off before it's starts burning her or perhaps the power boost will keep it from burning her. She just has to make sure Spike leaves the cave before it takes all the other vamps out.

What no scythe? Buffy did not think to take it with her to dole out the payback? TPTB are not helping in any way whatsoever you'd think that the forces of good would at least give Spike the gem of amara to keep him from dusting should Buffy manage to stake him in case that is the end game of snapping her out of her mental trigger. Sad and grim, bites nails and waits for next chapter.

Author's Response: I went back to double check . . . it's just one line, but, yea, she did take the scythe: "Buffy got dressed quickly, grabbed an overnight bag and quickly stuffed it full of the stakes that Spike had hidden in the bottom of the closet, putting the scythe she’d pulled out of the stone in on top of them. Buffy retrieved a note she’d written a couple of days ago out of a book on her night stand and laid it on her pillow. " For a minute I was afraid I had messed up! Thanks again! -Passion4Spike

At least Angel is helping instead of hurting in this chapter. Faith awake is good, it means that Buffy will have backup with her, hope that Faith limbers up for the upcoming storm. Spike and Buffy have both been asaulted, don't know if their bond will allow for Spike to tap into Buffy's nightmare during her captivity, but he needs to endure the memories of her torment to understand how to help her. Buffy is still being taunted by TFE in her own dimension, it would be nice if there were some way the witches could create a barrier to keep TFE from invading her home. Anyways, been a bumpy ride, fastening my seat belt for the upcoming chapters.
