Finally my curiosity overcame my reluctance to read more about Spike with Lily. I'm so glad it did. Wonderful tale, well told. I shall look out for the sequel(s)

wow, i am just blown away by this chapter! you are so imaginative! you have everything plotted out perfectly and you can definitely see how you are not making things up as you go along like some writers do (myself included). and i am just loving the au's. and how it really happened on 'Angel' was included and your other stories its pretty awesome! and the whole guardian thing about how she didnt die and there is only 1 and how she was the woman spike fed from was just brilliant! also, question: im getting confused since im reading so much of your stuff, was the woman spike fed from mentioned in the other story knowing the price or the one that came before that? or just in this?

Author's Response: No, just in this, I was half way through fleshing out the plot, when I dreamed about Spike (nothing new there!) draining all the blood out of me but I wasn't dying and also I wasn't myself but an older blonder lady. When I woke up I realized that Spike meeting up with The Guardian would explain how he got all the way back to Sunnydale, even though he only had a motorbike and was insane enough to go out in the sun and fry! (Joss never said!) As for making it up as I go, I sorta do except once I've done that, I re-write and re-write until it all makes sense. When I started 'Moving On' I only had two scenes written, Lily and Spike's sex scene and Lily's death, plus a reality where William's mum was still 'alive'. A lot of fleshing out had to happen and I never post a chapter until the one following it is written! That way, you have a buffer. Hope this answer wasn't too long and boring! I hope you enjoy chapter 16 and thanks for reviewing.

Love how you've matched William with Buffy from the insane asylum and I'm kinda glad to have a Lily I can hate without guilt!! Looking forward to more of the wonderfully original story!
