Author's Response: *hanging head in shame* Yes, this is season three and I screwed up big time! Miss Calendar is still dead. Thanks for pointing this out! All fixed now. Yeah, I always felt Giles was waaaayyyy too forgiving to Angel torturing him and killing his woman.

Really loved this chapter, particularly the Kansas reference from Xander, (whose character you have down perfectly,) and Angel's. I also loved the confrontation at the end between him and Spike! I'm eagerly awaiting your next chapter!

I absolutely LOVED this chapter! You captured Spike in his pre-Slayer-whipped-soul having days perfectly! I love the jealous rage he experienced, and the way his desire for Buffy reached monumental proportions as he got off sexually! You write with the finesse of a romance novelist with your guilty pleasures chapter, and I can't wait for the next intensely sexual update!

Much like Spike, I too enjoy when Buffy puts great, brooding Angel firmly in his place. Of course his concern is not that she'll get herself into trouble with one of her male peers, but that she's reminding him of what he can't have... Angel, you're kind of transparent. And Spike's take is pretty awesome, too. Though it was also a great opportunity for some of his brilliant Angel monologue... perhaps another time. :) Glad the blond wonder is going to actually try to be a bit patient this time, can't wait to see where it takes them, when this simmering starts to boil over! Update soon!
