And that punchline from the Other Williams' book, just summed them up so beautifully. So glad they went after what mattered and gave the others time to come around. Finally deserve to be happy over pleasing her friends. And they are too cute. A perfect ending, though I'm sad to see it go. I loved, loved the last few paragraphs. For once their is a story that did not contain a lot of Buffy denial or hand wringing. It was a perfect love story. The kind of love that sneaks up on you and never lets go. Great story and I will miss it.

Oh but in Spike there still is William and that means protector. And seeing him with Emma - it fits. Oh and it seems Emma knows a lot more It’s my job to make sure. They won’t come back until you do. And mommy too. Interesting.
Loved the Spuffyness - and Buffy telling Spike she trusts him.

I love it, Spike always jumping to conclusions. Buffy with not being able to say needed words. But finally it works out and all they have to concern themselves with is Xander and yet not his business.
