I loved the background info! The age thing didn't surprise me too much, but her past was interesting to hear about. And I'm happy she realized that she loves Rupert but isn't 'in love with him'- I hope that'll lead her back to William:)

Oh, welll, who in their right mind could just have an affair with that man and not realize you want him for the rest of your life.......and how could Giles be in his late 30's and marry a 19 year old......that wasn't fertile, LOL. If you went to the convention in Houston, you know what I'm talking about, LOL!
Author's Response: Kimber I know especially in the next chapter. I love making Spike irresistible. Now keep in mind, Elizabeth married Rupert when she was 23. She is now 27 and Rupert is 46. I just wanted to clear that up. I think if I would have saw JM in person I probably would not have been able to control myself...lol

Great chapter and I love the Rupert and Elizabeth part. Idealistic as it is, I still want Buffy and Spike to be the best couple the "meant to be couple" and if she were happily married, how could it be possible. But here, even this is enough for me. Although I still would like to see you pair Rupert off with someone. I just hate the thought of him being alone and sad. Poor Giles.
Author's Response: I know what you mean. I wrote this story to go two ways and haven't decided which version I want to go with. It seems like every time I settle on a version the story stars going in tthe opposite direction. Thanks for the feedback and the review.

Well, I'm against infidelity, so the next best thing, I think would be for Buffy to end her marriage, period. Then settle in with William. It's obvious they love each other and all. Especially when, in this chapter, you, the wonderful authoress, has made it clear that Spike/Buffy would miss each other because of so many things, not just sex.
Anyway, wonderful chapter, sad though, like Franchessca said below; this is why infidelity is such a bad, bad thing. Good thing there is no children involved in the marriage!

Author's Response: They say write what you know and I know a lot about cheating. Having seen it from both sides and the devastation it causes. Yeah, there are some strong feelings between William and Buffy but how could it not be. That kind of chemistry is rare especially when you have someone that looks like William...lol. I'm truly hoping that Rupert is having an affair with Joyce so that Buffy can end up with Spike. Although Christmas would be a real bitch, I think it would solve everything nicely.
Author's Response: Rupert can't have an affair with Joyce becuase Joyce was William's first. You will see there are some issues in Rupert and Buffy's relationship but nothing that could warrant her ending up wtih Spike. Well unless she gets caught :) Thanks for the review
