What a dramatic and exciting confrontation. You're doing a good job moving the plot forward and keeping the romance realistic. Spike is supportive without being a saint and Buffy's mixed emotions are well written.

This is a great story, and I loved this chapter. The whole "all of the men standing around involuntarily winced" part was wonderful. Although personally I would have done more than one kick and one punch... castration comes to mind.

Oh thank god she finally stood up to him. I might've had an ulcer if she didn't do that soon :P I can't describe why, but I liked the part where Buffy was momentarily scared of vicious Spike. I think it's just a good point, combined with a yum image of grrr Spike beating up bastard man.

That was freakin' awesome! Buffy got him good! Good on her. Her healing is no where near complete, but that sure is an exciting step. This maybe my favorite chapter in the whole story, so far. I hope they get Parker arrested again. Guy really is a dope, two bigger angry men approach you and you still think you can beat up the girl... surely a man possessed... But absolutely superb story telling. Update soon!
