hey, i LOVE this story. its great, and damn Angel for making Buffy kiss him when he knew Spike had come back. Argh! Go get him Buff! I am on the edge of my seat. i love that fact that Buffy has the chance to make things better with Spike.
Also, i was watching some spuffy music videos the other day and realised how great these two songs would be for your fic! "What If" by Kate Winslet, and "Taking Over Me" by Evanescence. The lyrics fit perfectly with the storyline.
Anyhoo, i love this story and cant wait for an update. Bring us more soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe I have left a previous review on one of your chapters, but after finally catching up on the reading, I just wanted to tell you that this is one of the best, most intriguing stories I've read in a long time. It runs a lot of parallels, but is uniquely different, to another of my alltime favorites. I very much look forward to reading more.

Angel! It's just Spike my ass. My god, stupid powers and Buffy's always sucking birthday parties. Talk about a cliffhanger! Really did like the bit with the minion and the chaos demon... glad that part was there, but damn Angel! I try not to beg for updates... but when you get a chance, that would be great. Adore this story. The angst is so much more fun when their in the room together. Wonderful chapter, really, very wonderful.

The claim still works. Knew they were absolutely bound to one another. And Angel, he's seems a little bit less good this time without Buffy. Thats both fun and interesting... as if anyone who favors this site needs more proof that Buffy and Angel didn't belong together. Still amazed it hasn't occured to him that Buffy's mark is from Spike! And the call to Joyce... he is so coming home to her. But I'll wait until he's ready. Lovely chapter.

Wow, I love how candid this Buffy can be with her mother. And I love that extra mother knowledge Joyce has about Spike, I think its good the Buffy gets an open mind to discuss her relationship with... at least the big picture about it. I also love how Dru is letting Spike know that he's has a thing for the Slayer, even tho he's not really admitting to it. I also completely respect your decision to breeze thru things until Spike gets back. Too much high school B.S. for anyone to realive. :) Though I would go thru it again if I got Spike. Absolutely adore this story. Thanks so much for sharing.

First, I don't blame you for wanting to jump ahead- I'd do the same thing just because it could get boring for you to write, and that's never fun. Angel needs to leave for LA after graduation- I think that's imperative. And good point about Buffy needing to keep Joyce alive- that'd be great. I just hope Spike comes back soon, although I'll deal if he doesn't:)

Had to review again when I got the chance to reread the chapter in a less inebriated state. That bit about Spike and Dru was really wonderful. Even being so very short and lacking dialogue, it did a wonder to really convey what their relationship has become. And grown up Buffy helping Xander get over her, also a good thing, always made me really sad when Buffy had to crush his heart on the show. I also thought it was interesting how Angel picked up on Buffy's use of the word "shagging" and decided he'd rather no know than call her out on it. Might not have been any Spuffy in this chapter, but it was really phenomenol. Update soon!

I see the plot is moving along quite nicely. Angel is learning so much about Buffy, but nothing to do with Spike, and Xander is learning enough about Buffy to feel bad about staking Spike, but not enough to really to understand any of it. And Spike is aching for his Buffy. Spike is coming home! I can just feel it. Dru knows, we know, its just a matter of time. A truly wonderful chapter. Hope for another update soon!

LOL I'm glad she continues to irritate Snyder! That a girl! Also, it's nice that Willow made Buffy and Xander patch things up, because let's face it, Xander plays an important role in the future, too. Hopefully Spike will decide to leave Dru sooner rather than later

Okay, everyone else is trying to fix things. Somehow the saying that "the road to hell is paved with good intentions," certainly springs to mind. And Xander, how annoying is he right now! And I really do hope Spike comes back, and soon. Buffy is certainly happier when he's around. Like hearing from Cordy, too. I would be nice to have more of her special view on the world entered into this story. Wonderful chapter. It's very well done watching everyone trying to adapt to this Buffy, and not being too quick on the uptake. Great job.
