Glad that Buffy didn't go to dust in the sun because she thought Spike was gone. Loved the "Make up". Well, except the Xander incident - once again. That describes it good: A heart gone black... TNX for the udpate!

I just found this tale and... WOW! You've got some major cliff-hangy stuff going on here! I remember what Charmand said so I'm hoping all will be well in the end, but sounds like Spike should of learned a bit more about that amulate first. Oh and I loved the "Uncle Spike" bit - It would be even better if Spike was aware of the link the whole time. Can't wait for more! Really an AWESOME tale and I'm so glad you decided to try your hand at telling a Buffy-turned story! Thanks for sharing.

Author's Response: Well ... remember what Charmand said? The amulet would work, but not quite how he expected it to? Spike didn't plan about not being able to give Buffy a warning, and everyone will find out in Chapter 11 that he thought they would still have their telepathic link at the very least. Spike is definitely wishing he could have told Buffy something too. We will be jumping right into that at the beginning of Chapter 11.

Uh oh, that sounds bad. Angelus needs to stake himself, not Spike! And so glad Antoinette and Charmand are still here and helping! Although, Antoinettes lil prophecy sounds... not of the good. Very cryptic, And poor Joyce! Finding out her daughter is dead the hard way! Hopefully she can accept it fairly fast, otherwise the plan will be ruined! Loved this chapter!! Can't wait for more!

It got to late reading Ch. 8 yesterday *yawn* so here I am now. Oh, Xander can be lucky that Spike was there (in her head) but I hve the feeling he deserved it :) Sorry that the chapter ended hear... now I'm wondering what Spike had in that box ... family treasure? Something from his mother maybe, a ring? Looking forward to find out!

I know I've been terrible about reviewing, but I want you to know I love this story. This chapter was great as well. It just keeps getting richer and the plot deeper.

Another awesome chapter! It's getting exciting!! The plot to kill Angelus... cool! Sad that Buffy and Spike have to seperate, but the reunion should be fun eh? Update soon!

This is a really great story. You make them seem so real in their affection for one another. I didn't quite believe that Spike would actually, just give out all that info about himself without a fight though...Still, i understand the point of doing it like that. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Author's Response: I felt that Spike was getting frustrated, and after Buffy trying to leave his room once, he needed to get Giles to agree to what he's going to want him to do. He needed to shock Giles into thinking something other than the status quo. A Sire and Mating bond could make him extreme in his protection and means to get there. That was a main basis for why he did what he did. Hope that helps.
