She loved him plain and simple, but then again things were never simple when it came to Spike. No, he was always special, always different
She breifly thought about the irony of her relizing it just at that second.That second while she was stading over the remains of Sunnydale trying vainly to see his ashes through the rubble.
But hey she wasn't a simple girl either.
She could feel the tears they werent coming but she knew they were threatning too.
She knew that there was alot of work to be done. First she thought she needed to tell Angel. As soon as she thought it she felt her blood boiling.
It's Angel's fault he was the one who gave her that amulet he must of known she would give it to Spike.
A tiny unheard voice in her subconcious told her that this was not the case and this was no ones fault. But she desperatly needed someone to blame. Her last thought before she took off running was that the city of angels is going to have a new slayer soon.
