Summary: I've taken Busteds song and turned it into a story in my OWN PERSONAL SEASON! Spike didn't attack Buffy. Willow isn't addicted to magic but she still a wiccan. Xander and Anya are engaged. And Season 7 has gone *poof* it never happened! Spike left Sunnydale tho coz Buffy said she didnt want him and Angel came back.

"Hey Wills you'll never guess what has just happened...." Buffy was sitting in the front room of her and Angel’s house. They had been living together for some time now, with Dawn of course.
Spike had left months ago. Him and Buffy had had another one of their rows so Spike upped and left. At first she had been distraught. Not just because Spike had left but also because her friends were horrible to her because of it. Xander and Spike had become really close when Buffy was dead and had stayed close even after she had come back.
And if Xander and Spike were close EVERYONE was close to Spike. And it had hurt EVERYONE when he left. Xander had stopped talking to Buffy, Willow only spoke to her when she had no choice, Dawn was a real bitch to her but that was expected. Giles wasn't there he was still in England. Anya didn't change her attitude to Buffy at all she seemed fairly unfazed by it all. Tara was really kind and supportive to Buffy. She was there when Buffy needed a shoulder to cry on, she put up with all of Buffy's frequent mood swings and she even stood up for Buffy when Buffy and Xander had a fight.
They'd forgiven Buffy though. Even though they missed Spike they had to forgive her when Buffy had nearly died again to save them from being sacrificed they couldn't stay angry with her.
Then Angel had come back. That had caused problems of course, Angel and Buffy got back together. No one was happy about it but they bit their tongues and let Buffy be happy. What choice did they have?
So Angel and Buffy dated for a while, Angel spent more and more time at the Magic Box. No one was incredibly nice to him but he didn't care. The Angel bought a very expensive house, 4 floors and attic, hundreds of rooms, and the outdoor space was AMAZING! There was a huge swimming pool that lit up at night, a Jacuzzi and a whole field to themselves. Buffy had told Angel it was pointless.

Angel and Buffy were walking along the path. Angel had begged Buffy to let him show her something. Angel stopped in front of the largest most expensive house in Sunnydale.
"This is what you wanted to show me?" Buffy asked, confused.
"Yep!" Angel said happily.
"Well it's a pretty house Angel but I've seen it before."
"But have you been inside it?" Angel asked trying to hide the huge grin that wanted to come out.
"No. Coz it's been emp..." Buffy drifted of at Angels proud look. "You didn't!!!" she gasped.
"I did!" Angel said grinning happily. "It's all ours! Just you, me and Dawn" Buffy flew into Angels arms happily. He lifted her up and swung her around both of them laughing. Then he put her down and swooped in for a kiss.

So they had moved in to the huge house. Dawn had been reluctant at first about leaving the house.
"But it's like forgetting about mom!" She wailed. But Angel had come to the rescue saying that Willow and Tara were still going to be living there. Dawn still wasn't happy about it but she had no choice now.
So now Buffy sat in the spacious living room. Angel had just left for L.A. Dawn was in her room playing the CD that Spike had bought her before he left.
"Just my way of saying goodbye" Spike had written on the case. Dawn played that CD again and again. Just to annoy Angel. But she made sure that Buffy never heard it because when she had last heard it last she broke down and didn’t speak for 2 weeks. But since the house was so big Buffy couldn't hear it.
"What?" Said Willow talking into the receiver in Revello Drive.
"Angel proposed!!!!" Buffy squealed looking at her diamond engagement ring.
"WHAT?!" Said Willow’s voice and Dawn’s.
Buffy looked at Dawn. She looked furious. Buffy’s smile quickly faded.
"Dawnie..."

Previously on Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Spike left, Angel came back, Buffy and Angel got together, Buffy left the house to Willow and Tara and her and Dawn moved in with Angel. Angel proposed and Dawn doesn't sound to happy with it...

"No way! Nu-uh you cannot marry that git!" Dawn said her voice get louder with every word.
'Why does she have to make everything so difficult?' Buffy thought. 'Did she just say git?' Images of a certain peroxide blonde flitted into Buffy's head but she quickly shook them off.
"Dawnie..." Buffy began.
"Don't 'Dawnie' me" Dawn snapped, Dawn had to bite back a laugh at the stupidity of her words.
"Dawn then." Buffy said getting angrier by the second. 'God she sounds more and more like Spike everyday! No bad Buffy! Forget him!' Buffy mentally berated herself.
"Dawn. Angel proposed to me earlier on and I said yes"
"No! You can't marry him! Its not right!" And with that Dawn turned and ran out the house.
Buffy closed her eyes. 'Well what did u expect?' Said the little voice in the back of her mind.
"Shut up!" Buffy growled.
"Buffy? Buffy are you there?" Said the faint voice of Willow. Buffy jumped slightly and looked at the floor. Buffy quickly picked up the phone and put it to her ear.
"Sorry Wills I...." Buffy began
"Yeah, yeah. I know" Willow said shortly.
"Wills. A... are you angry with me?" Buffy voice became soft and insecure. Willow sighed.
"No Buffy. I'm not angry but are you sure this is what you want?" Willow asked timidly, trying not to make Buffy upset. Their friendship had been fairly strained since Spike left.
"Yeah." Buffy said quietly. 'Liar' Taunted her mind, 'Angel isn't what you want what you need.'
"Yes!" Said Buffy more forcefully this time. 'Hah see I AM happy!' Buffy thought. 'Oh-mi-god I'm fighting with my head! I'm going crazy!'
"Well if you're happy then I'm happy." Willow said though she didn't sound very convincing. But Buffy either didn't notice it or ignored the unsure-ness in Willow's voice.
"I better be going to find Dawn anyway. See ya Wills."
"Bye Buffy!" Willow hung up. Buffy sighed and got up. She knew where Dawn was going, so she got up pulled on her boots and coat. Then walked out of the house, locking the door behind her.
"She can't marry Angel, Clem!" Dawn and Clem were sitting in Spike's crypt. When Spike had left he had told Clem to look after it for him. And the girls. Even though Spike had left to get away from Buffy he still loved her and Dawn.
"It's not right!" Dawn said angrily.
"I know." Clem said trying to calm the girl down. "But there's not much we can do about it"
"Spike wouldn't let it happen. Spike wouldn’t have let Angel anywhere near Buffy. Or me" Dawn added slyly, her way of saying. If you’re gonna be Spike to me you gotta act like him.
"True." Clem agreed.
"What do you think he'd do if he found out about it?"
"Well..."Clem said thoughtfully. "There's only one way to find out...."

"Only one way to find out" Clem said mysteriously. His eyes sparkled with mischief.
"One way, huh?" Dawn said, her lips curling into a devious smile. "What did you have in mind?"
"Well Spike did leave me contact details in case something bad happens..."
"Yay!" Dawn clapped her hands happily, "What do you think he'll do?"
"What will who do?" Said a voice from the shadows. Dawn turned her head so fast her neck cricked, Clem looked up in surprise.
"What will who do?" Repeated the voice walking into the light. Her arms were folded across her chest a confused look on her face.
"Buffy!" Dawn exclaimed her anger briefly forgotten. But then it came flooding back. "What are you doing here?"
"I'm taking you home. It's not safe to walk alone at night"
"I'm not coming" Dawn said defiantly. Buffy groaned and rolled her eyes. 'Patience Buffy' She reminded herself.
"Yes you are Dawn," Buffy said calmly.
"No I'm not!" Dawn insisted angrily.
"You can't stay here!"
"Says who?" Dawn regretted her words straight away. She knew she'd crossed a line. She'd brought back memories that were better left forgotten.
"Says me." Buffy said coldly. Her face expressionless but inside she was burning. With rage. With guilt. With sadness. Memories flooded back to her. Words span around Buffy's mind. Words of anger. Words of betrayal. Words of hate.
"Ug... I.... ah.... um" Dawn stuttered, and then she stood up and turned to Clem. Her eyes met his and silent words were spoken. They nodded at each other in unison. Buffy turned and walked out and Dawn followed.
Clem sighed. He had some phone calls to make.

Angel walked into the house and closed the door behind him. He cocked his head. It was quiet. Too quiet. Angel opened the door to the lounge, and was greeted by the sight of his fiancé huddled up on the sofa tear tracks on her cheeks. She didn't even acknowledge Angel's presence she just sat, staring at the floor, listening to Kate Winslet on the huge sound system they'd bought.

"Buffy?" Angel asked softly as the song came to an end. Buffy flinched and looked at him.
"Hey," She said weakly, she tried to smile but it hurt to even try.
"What's wrong?" Angel asked, concerned. He hated to see her like this. He hadn't seen her like this since. Well he didn't want to thin about it. Buffy blurted out everything that had happened that night. By the end of it Angel was sitting with his arms around her.
"Is there anything I can do?" Angel whispered.
"No," Buffy replied. "I just wanna be alone." Angel took the hint and left, reluctantly. Closing the door behind him. Buffy sighed and out on another song.
