Summary: Buffy is 19 when she moves to Sunnydale with her mother and 17 year old sister Dawn after her parents bitter divorce. After only living in the town for a few weeks, Buffy is attacked and illegally turned one night by a member of the Aurelian line. From that moment on, her life is turned upside down and she has to learn to survive as a newly turned vampire under the rigid laws society has put in place to ensure the survival of their species, and in the process is inadvertently dragged into the midst of a bitter war between two rivaling vampire clans.

So very very glad to see a new chapter up! I look forward to seeing how Willow and Lucian's own romance will develop. I love that her character is not meek in this. I think it can only help Buffy in seeing the changes in Spike. Lovely writing as always.

really enjoying so far. I can't wait to see where this goes. Lovely description of William's feelings, that's exactly how I imagine him acting.
Summary: Set at the very end of Season 2 with an alternate ending to the last episode. After Drusilla dies, Spike goes feral over the loss of his sire and drags off the injured Slayer. His demon decides it wants to keep her, make her his. He nurses her back to health, but she has no idea what he has planned for her once she gets healthy enough. Woohoo, BoMB was nominated at the Lost in Spike Awards. I probably won't win, but I'm flattered that someone thinks my story is that good!

I didn't click on this story at first as well I was abit nervous about it, however I am glad that I did. The way Buffy reacts in this fic is believable. The reader is able to empathise with her reactions and also the love she feels towards Angelus. He is after all, manipulative and thus has a stronghold over her that is unparalleled. I really love the way you have made slight differences in Spike's actions towards Buffy compared to Angelus. Even when written as a souless demon (which I must say is very believable) he still retains a sense of empathy that overrides Angelus' attempts at affection. Very moving chapter with the opera scene. I can't wait to read more.

You have captured a difficult subject perfectly and I would be very interested in reading more. Physical abuse nearly always becomes psychological and unlike in Spuffy RL doesn't have a huge supply of Spikes. Here's hoping that Buffy doesn't have to endure much more. Lovely writing.
