I could personal deal with no danger for a bit, but alas we must find out what Dru and Angelus have been up to. I thought it was a good time as any to right a little Spuffy. It was a lot like the stuff that went down in BtVS. Plus I beliebe you have been working up to it very nicely, great work. On another note what is going on with Willow and Lucian? And what is Dru and Angelus evil plan? And what is the medallion meant to do? I'm betting that the nasty village husband is going to do something but what I'll have to wait and see great chapter...waiting for the update ^_^

Author's Response: Sorry but danger must come. I mean crazy Dru is still out there and well, he captured buffy for her magick and magick always has ramifications. I'm glad you feel that it was time for loving. Yes I have been working up to it, they had an almost a little bit back and she has been giving him touches, huggiong him, her feelings have been softening. True it started as a quarrel, but hey, anger can incite passion. As for everything else, Willow and Lucian will have a chapter soon and we are about to find out what Drusilla has been up to. The pace is picking up here now that all of the ground work has been laid. I don't mean posting pace, I mean action pace. Can't have our lovers settle into lovey dovey complacency can I? I get why you have Buffy protecting Hannah however women in Buffy's positiion aren't stupid they know when they are being lied to. Sympathy or not she's just plan stupid. Willow on the other hand is being smarter you might say it's because she wasn't abused by Spike or Lucian.

However I am currently living in an Arab country which works on the same mentality as older societies and the one rule is the male has the right to do whatever he wants and the women should grin and bare it after all if he is unhappy you did something to anger him. No women in a situation like Buffy's would go against what her husband wants her to do, it is considered the sin of the greatest kind.

Other than that it was an excellently written chapter and I hope to read what's to come

Author's Response: Buffy's vision is very clouded by her past abuse. She is being confrnted by her abuser and is in the position where she feels as if she can save another from the fate she suffered. It isn;t a matter of stupidity, it's a matter of trust. Buffy has never come to fully trust Spike. Everytime she lets her guard down and opens hwer heart, his beast rises up and makes her have doubts. Willow is being smarter and would be smarter still if it weren;t for the after effects of her trauma. She'll take a closer look though and reason things through.

As for bufffy speaking her mind and defying Spike. No, that is not normal, but her actions and words haven't been acceptable for sometime and he has allowed it. Why? Because he loves her so much and she knows this. Spike won't do anything to ruin any progress that he has made and he WAS going to force her, but then he felt the fear of his wife whom he has tried so very hard to hget to love him, and what's worse, he felt the terror fo his child towards him. His child was afraid of him and it killed him so he backed off.

Buffy dared because she has seen how he looks at her, seen the pleading in his eyes, seen how thrilled he is when she does give hoim a morsel of her affection, and so she dares because she can't not dare to try and save the human girl who could suffer because of her unjustly. The stable boy was hurt because of her, and now Hannah, if innocent and to Buffy her excuses could be true, Hannah could be hirt in her name as well. Bring me proof and I will acceed she says and she will. But utl then, she will fight and he will allow it because of his deep love and because he feels all she and their babe feel. Whjat father could stand to have his own child be terrified of him? Thanks for reading and expressing your opinion.

Okay interseting chapter, about the whole not being able to write without having people over you shoulder it is the same way with me, not only wouldn't approve, my brothers and sister would mock, for many reasons one being that they didn't like BtVS and two they think that only people who don't have friends write fanfiction which we all know is not true. But there you have it. It was a good chapter love the way you've written up Spike. Buffy is being Buffy stuborn and foolish and not seeing the forest for the trees. And Parker well enough said.

Of course the spell would go wrong when did Willow's spells ever go well. I mean bring Buffy made it possible for the first to come through. So yeah even when she thinks she's ahead she's very behind.
