Summary: Takes place in an AU where things went a little differently at the end of "What's My Line", and the Initiative came to town a bit earlier than in canon.
Spike is not paralyzed in the church that night, but his unlife is still irrevocably changed. In a misguided attempt to restore her childe, Drusilla performs a spell that goes terribly wrong, and will change the course of not only Spike's life, but the Slayer's as well, forever.

Awesome fic. That was uncompletely unexpected, I'm like sitting here in my friend's room, giddy with happiness, and curious to see what happens in the next chapter. Spike with Angel's soul? I wonder if Spike will feel the guilt of Angel's victims or not, but great fic nevertheless and can't wait to read more.
Summary: Buffy tries unsuccessfully to reach Alcatha before Angelus does and finds common ground with Spike instead. Originally written for the Spuffy Kinkathon, Contains S2 Spike and Buffy, locked in a confined space with no way to escape over a longish period of time, plus some H/C, snark, chocolate and no Wussy!Spike.
