I don't think that Forrest found Willow & Xander, but who did he find? Fred? hmm. And where did Spike end up? I just don't think he's the 'other guest'. I'll be looking forward to tomorrow's update to (hopefully) find out!

Glad to see Spike. Angel is just ...evil personified. Nicely done. What (or is that who?) on earth happened that he doesn't need Buffy anymore?

I sort of feel terrible for this, but I doubt Gunn; my first gut reaction when Willow & Xander talked about going to him was, "noooo!", and I'm not exactly sure why.

Very Count Rugen. Only thing it was missing was a mention that it was all being recorded for posterity. And now that I've just flashed my inner nerd, time to put it away. lol

Smart Buffy, keeping her wits about her. Interesting twist with Fred. She's so infrequently portrayed as anyhing other than a sweet farm girl.

I feel like a broken record, but .. loved it, as always! :) Also, and I swear I'll stop babbling after this, enjoy the new Mac!

I lol'd when Faith told Anya to touch Spike. Hilarious, and so very Faith.

Just what is Giles up to? I'd so like to think I'll still like him when all is said and done, but I'm still pissy about him helping Wood ambush Spike on the show. Grudges - I hold them. ;) It's almost cute how he thinks a little locked drawer is going to keep Spike from those books. ;)

I love this story. I do have a question tho - the first slayer that was turned, Jehanne? She was a slayer for 44 years? She was called in 1456 and turned in 1500, according to the diary entries.

I wonder how Buffy & Giles will handle whatever the Council ends up throwing their way, and how they'll both stay alive (well, sort of! lol) long term. Really intrigued!

Have we seen the last of Angel? What plan does Giles have up his sleeve? I was a bit worried that Miss Barns would be a bit too officious for our heroes' good. I'm happy it appears that things worked out ok. (Her no bugs comment seemed so ... harsh! lol)

Author's Response: Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. Yes, we have seen the last of Angel. Although he is mentioned a few times in later chapters. I have the barest inkling of an idea for a third story in this verse, and he would be in it. I don't know if I'll write it though. We'll have to see. I was a foster parents for a number a years and one of the regulations for the hosue was that no bugs be visible. If they saw bugs, they had to write it down in a report. I kid you not. You wouldn't believe the rules and carp we had to put up with. No wonder more people don't foster. Most of the Social Workers genuinely cared for the children though.
