That was so great. I'm glad Buffy is okay and Spike is accepted. I really liked the Buffy/Faith sister bonding part.

I love historical AUs and I'm digging this story! I wanted to yell at William for not explaining the situation to Elizabeth before Joyce did, but alas he didn't. Oh well, it was getting too easy for him. Now he'll have really prove himself worthy of her. Hopefully all that time alone while he escorts her will prove fruitful. He better work fast and hope Henry is reasonable to making Elizabeth his wife. Not likely which just means more trouble for them and more story for us. Perhaps even try to use marriage as a reason for Elizabeth to be with him, better marriage than mistress. Not that that would actually work in this time period, but I get the feeling William's going to get desperate pretty soon.

This story breaks my heart in a good way, if that makes sense. I can't decide which world I want to be real. I think I really want Buffy to go back to William but then I worry about everyone else. I hope if she goes back then Spike can convince the others to let her go. Or if she stays, she can see William in Spike but then he might always feel that she wishes she was somewhere else. It's so hard to think which would be better for Buffy, I don't know how you'll decide or how you've made a decision but I know you'll handle it wonderfully no matter what you decide.

That broke my heart but I'm glad in the end Will understood and supported Buffy's decision. I hope this can push things along for Spike and Buffy. I think this was an amazingly done chapter. I've really liked the story as a whole so far, but this chapter made it for me. I could understand Buffy's anguish as much as Spike's and could side with both of them. I really felt the heartbreak in their words. It's a tough situation with no right or wrong side and that's what makes it life. I know it will be tough for them but I hope they can find a way to make it work and I think the end of this chapter shows there is hope.

Oh thank god! That time when she was under the trigger scared me so much! I think they can get through this. That was a nice moment between Robin and Spike, whether they both knew or not. Well since Angel has no reason to work for W & H, I guess this means no amulet so there will be another way to defeat the First. However, if Angel does somehow find an amulet, let him wear and redeem himself because frankly the only way Angel can redeem himself is to not be around anymore.

I'm confused, so this world's Spuffy and up to finale canon Spuffy merged together and now have all memories, that right? Have to say I prefer this story's Spuffy, they are just happier and well whatever that they don't have Dawn, they've got Annie. For them, the kid is better than a sister.

How does Buffy stay away from Spike when he's all naked? How does she stay away period? I know there is that line she can't cross without getting hurt (I think I read it's still there), but I would say ignore the pain to touch him. Death would be worth it. Jack needs to have his ass put in the ring with Spike, then he'll see that he shouldn't have taunted him or threatened Buffy. I bet he shit his pants when Spike grabbed for him.

Wow! That was...brain is fried! How soon before Spike takes advantage of his invite? Soon, right? Like right then? Loving this! Angel who?
