Glad that Buffy decided to bet on her favorite vampire even though she was mad at him – wise move! The fight club should sell DVD’s of their fights to their clientele, maybe Buffy could use her phone to record the Spike’s next fight and have the slayers go and sell them like Girl Scout cookies to the friendly demon community. In the TV series Spike had a minion video record Buffy when she was fighting, I think he got aroused when he viewed the footage and I can imagine that any recording of slayers fighting would have the same aphrodisiac effects on Sunnydale’s demon clientele. Maybe the girls could wear costumes like cowgirl or waitress outfits to sell the product! I’m totally off topic here, damn your muse for making want to make money for the Weckerly’s! Glares at him. Loved how Anya cooked up a plan to launder the winnings into useable cash - even dragged Giles into it with a gentle nudge. Well, I think that Buffy and Spike need to go shopping for non-flammable clothing for Spike’s next bout. Could he dress like a firefighter for the match? Eyes glaze over thinking of a calendar of Spike wearing different blue collar outfits. Gives your sinister muse a wish list of sexy uniforms for Spike and/or slayers to wear put him to work on that! Fire is operative word in this segment of their lives, a prophecy that state’s “the seer of truth is ‘a daughter of fire” and now Spike’s biggest bout is with Pele who has the power of fire, someone’s gonna get burned! Bites fingernails thinking about it.

Back to reading the story, it is really action filled and full of angst! Buffy should never die at the hands of Cordelia, Cordy needs to die! LOL!

The angst involving the kids is pretty much over ... well, there will be a bit later, but not because they\'re hurt or anything like that - just normal, everyday angst. Buffy dying at the hands of Cordy is way bad. She\'s survived every baddie in the universe for Cordy to kill her?!?! That\'s just wrong! So glad you\'re back! Always love your reviews!

Intense fighting seems rather humbling for Buffy to be so diminutive in strength even with the scythe against the tall Jacks. With all the demons going for her neck to bite her, maybe she should sprinkle holy water on her neck and wear a holy cross (do those work on the Jack’s?) If that works, Annie should also do the same. Again, do these Jack’s honor the claiming or marking by other vampire demons? So far, Buffy’s mark from her Spike seems to mean nothing. At this point, with her blood being so prized by the Jacks, if she is not gobbled up by the sea monster and survive, she should bag some of her own blood and use it to toss and distract the demons – have them fight each other off for the sample. Then kill them by infusing holy water into the blood. *Glares at your muse for not leaving a priest behind* Did Annie make it? Did Spike? Will your muse look up recipes for cooking Bob the big bug? Cliff hanger time! No Fair!

Author's Response: Oh, what wonderful suggestions! Bottling her blood and using it to distract the demons is an excellent idea! Too bad Buffy doesn\'t think of it... :( We will find out later if holy water/crosses will work on them or not, so I\'m not gonna comment on that idea just now, you\'ll have to wait and see. My muse\'s \'people\' are in contact with Andrew Zimmern\'s \'people\' for bug cooking recipes. If you see a rather large, bald man with a knife and fork in his hands looking lost, send him this way - Andrew\'s obviously come for a taste of some very Bizarre Food! Rack being in this universe to remind Buffy of her short fallings - hope Buffy is stong enough to stand up to him. Rack may come in handy but he is quite the manipulator, I think Spike can see past his evil intentions - I hope! Anyways, Riley trying to rape Buffy was all kinds of bad, glad he got dusted, he was a wild card who was getting out of control. Thank goodness for Andrew. What's next in your evil muse's mind? Glorificus shows up trying to prevent any further portals to be opened least she be ousted again out of her own dimension? The knights of Bizz...whatever come back into town to sensing opening of dimensions? The sea monsters made from the swimming team come back looking to spawn? Argh! Too much angst!
