Summary: Alternative for the disastrous birthday episode in season 6. Rather than the party that took place in season 6, it was only the Scoobies at 1630 Revello Drive that night. Dawn hadn’t made the wish to Cecily earlier in the day and it was just a visit to the school councilor. Buffy has invited Spike over for the party with plans to tell everyone about them but gets worried when he doesn’t show. Things get tenser when Xander starts going on about how he confronted Spike earlier in the day at The Magic Box in the basement.

This is going to be a wonderful story, I can already tell. This is how season six should have gone. What were those writers thinking?!
The only thing is I wished it went into more about how everyone reacted to the news. I can imagine Xander doing one of those, "Buffy you're possessed. He's a monster."
Spike is such a romantic and Buffy is so sweet. I loved how you made everything so happy.

This was a great first chapter. you have rangled me into continuing to read. I will admit that I hated, hated the movie, but that's only because both Mark Wallburg and Jen Aniston are seriously lacking in acting skills. A spuffy twist to this movie is just what it needed!!!

I love how you didn't forget to show her reaction to his eyes, being as how that was the first time she saw them. Loved it!
