GrrrAhhhhG!!! I still cannot respond on my home comp! Anyway, I wanted to hop on and especially answer 'Mac's' inpupt... Hint, Yes, William/Spike has changed, but not completely as will be shown in the next chapter and epilogue. Actually they are written, edited and ready to submit, I'm was just going to wait until tomorrow AM/PST to do it. Buffy is definitely stronger and more in charge of her own life, although she does love Spike/William totally. I have to admit, when I published this on another site, this last chapter 'Bridges' was one of he most controversial ones. There was two sets of opinions on how I wrote the characters in the end. One camp felt I had turned Spike into a bit of a 'wimp' while one camp felt I had Buffy relent to easily. I felt, myself, and it is up to the readers to decide, that I had met some happy medium with the couple. That they could go on, make a life together and still embrace all aspects of their families and own personalities. I will definitely submit the last chapter and epi tomorrow morning before I go to work. (I leave my house at 6:00 AM PST so it's early!) Thank you, Luv, Spuf
