great chapter. I like the dialogue. We do tend to call it Christmas pudding over here in England, though, and not plum pudding! We do have one called plum duff, but that is a different story altogether. Looking forward to next chapter.
Author's Response: Oops. Thanks for pointing that out. My beta usually notice stuff like that, but she must have missed it, or she didn't know. My great grandma always made what she called "plum pudding" when I was a kid and she said it was a British thing. I was too young to have doubts about her being right or not lol. Hi, don’t want to get involved in the moral aspects of the story - I think the disclaimer is fine. But only thing that confuses me is that I thought even if we write Buffy and Spike outside of the storyline - i.e. fantasy, their characters were still supposed to be close to that of Buffy and Spike.
Otherwise, what’s the point of using their names at all?
I think this story is very good but the heroine in no way acts with anything of Buffy’s character. Personally, I was aching for her to kick him where it would hurt, riding crop or no riding crop!
Author's Response: LOL Point taken. Perhaps she needs a bit more spunk although she does get fiestier when the shock wears off. On the other hand, have you ever had a riding crop used on you? Just kidding. I DO NOT want to know, but I've found that a riding crop, especially applied in the places Spike mentioned, can be a very convincing arugument when it comes to just about anything. Especially when combined with a very sore bottom!

Hi, well, I’m exhausted in a good way! I’ve just read the entire story to date and love it. Great to read Spike written by another English writer - I’m tall and much much older than you! - so he sounds right! And the story is exciting and real.
