Dang it ... So close ... He said I love you, but neither one of them really realizes what he means. He doesn't want to say that he cares for her more than a certain amount for many reasons. Then she sees how he acts around her and doesn't take his love as really meaning it ... because he goes out of his way to make her believe that he doesn't mean it the way she wants it.
