I have been gone from here for forever and didn't even know this forum was here, or else I would have posted sooner and asked that all my stuff be on the don't share list. I intended no malice or ego stroking when I reposted my stuff and then ended up pulling it again. Life happens. I was in a relationship that was not healthy and my writing stopped, my coming to Spuffy Realm stopped. I had no time to worry about my stories. I had every intention of posting the rest of Shadows because I do respect my fans who inspired me to write in the first place, but life happens. I left things up here because when things got crazy I just never came here, so they sat stagnant for almost 3 years.
So fast forward 3 years to Aug. of this year. My job isn't an issue because I am retiring soon and someone fought the morality clause and won. my mom made it through what we thought for certain was going to kill her, my codependent relationship has ended and I am in a healthy place where my writing is encouraged. Muse woke up. During that time the ebook business changed as well. I have a chance to publish them and yes, I took them down here for my own benefit because I wanted them published. I'm sorry if that made anyone feel used. Can anyone honestly say they would pass up a chance to publish their work?
There was no up and down for ego stroking. I fully intended to put all of Beneath the Shadows up on here but it's a long story and my ability to keep posting vanished. Did I love the reviews? Yes, and I tried to answer each one but then life got really dark and this good place just went away for me. I was lost and very depressed and nothing mattered.
So Lessons of Love and Elizabeth's Destiny along with much of my kinky stuff which is in a book called Sweet Agony, can be purchased on Amazon under the pen name of Jolynn Raymond. Pari put an ad up for me here so some of you know that already. Shadows will be published in March. It is too long for one book so will be a two book set or a trilogy. We are working on smooth dividing places. If you want it, it will be there. I'm sorry if some feel it was disloyal to you guys here to pull my works, but frankly, the money from publishing is not something I can turn my back on. The contract states they have all rights so they had to be pulled. All the stories are in ebook and in paperback.
If you have my stuff in your archives then great, but I ask you keep it there. Share what you want privately but don't put it on the internet. You may continue to think of me as an egotistical bitch for posting, pulling, posting, and pulling. That is your preroagative, but I had my reasons. It hurt to have my muse suffocated, I wanted to write, it's in my blood and Shadows is my baby. Now I am free to feel the happiness of being creative again. My wife supports me 100%, the dark period is over and muse is runing free.
