Elysian Fields Spuffy fiction site has been down for a few days...does anyone know when or if it will be back up?

They're working on it, but no one knows for sure when it will be back.

They have a facebook page but they're not posting much info there

I have been wondering too and after a Google or two came across this posted on Dark-solace.org:

It seems that the sites hosted on my account have been compromised. To make sure nothing malicious happens to other sites or computers I have taken all of my sites offline until I can assess the situation and clean up a lot of files. I am sorry for any trouble this may cause and hope that you will understand. Once the sites have all been cleaned up, I will re-open their doors. I will be doing this in waves as a lot of the sites run CMS software which will require time to comb through for malicious code. If you require anything from a site that is down (information, something you were looking for, etc, please contact me on twitter

I haven't included the twitter thingy - I figure we just have to try to be patient...

Thanks for the update. I was getting worried about them ...

When EF comes back up authors will need to reload any fic or fic updates they have done in the last three months as well. I contacted Pfeifferpack and she said they were hacked and have lost everything. The provider had a backup from 3 months ago and they will be able to restore it from that, but to be patient for it will be a while.
