I love this!

Interesting lark, but I had problems with this story. Spike's way too vicious and unfeeling for me (even when he was full evil on BtVS he wasn't all Angelus-esque like he is here). Xander's also unbelievably vicious here, in his own way.

The writing itself could use a good clean-up, too; several spelling/grammare/etc. errors and confusing syntax.

very interesting...different from the others but i liked it a lot! i hope you would write a sequel.

I don't know what's up with the negative reviews. I absolutely loved it! I really love how you write, and how you wrote Spike is just so sexy abate just a little creepy lol!

The only thing I don't get is didn't Buffy say they were having a daughter? Is there a reason for this or just a lapse in memory lol. What I think ould be wonderful would be another fic on this to go into morre detail about their lives post the ending before the epilogue and just try to hash out some of the confusion.

i liked this story even though it goes against the usual plot line. i think thats what i liked about it.

i don't usually leave a review that is negative, but i have to with this story. it had great potential but i feel that you just reallly totally dropped the ball with this one. and seriously? spike vamping buffy while she was pregnant and that didn't affect the baby? just can't see that happening EVER - Hellmouth or no! I actually wanted this story to be a lot darker than it was. and the ending with their son (you did indicate they had a daughter) visiting dawn - it was just a totally limp way to end this story. sorry. like i said, this story had a lot of potential. maybe you could take a whack at re-working it? but i give you props for writing and posting - that's more than i do.

I honestly don't much care for it. It' s not because spike isn't "nice". It's because Spike isn't spike. I don't feel that killing any of buffy's friends is something spike would have done, and I don't think it' ssomething buffy would have tolerated...remember, when someone in the scooby gang goes evil, they help them. The first chapter...parts of it were believable...he DOES tend to lash out when he's hurting...but it went above and beyond who the character had become...hell he was more human in season two than in this story. I just don't buy it.

Er, I'm really confused... Didn't you say that the baby was a girl?? And if Spike went to Africa didn't he get his soul??Cause then he wouldn't be that mean.. or did he just get the chip removed?? And why did they want Dawn to think they were dead? Anyways it was really good, a bit confusing in some parts, but an overall good job ;)

Good ending but inprevius chapther you wrott their child was a girl, no a boy.

Author's Response: Bad my, you caught that...sorry but I decided to go with a boy because of how I wrote the ending. Thought it would be more fun to have a male Spike clone pull the wool over the last Summers living! Luv, Spuf
