I havent put down my phone since I started reading! There are not enough words to describe how much I am loving this fic! Im actually really sad Ive reached the massive cliffhanger ending and came to see when the last update was and Im heartbroken there hasnt been an update in years! Hopefully one day itll get picked up again, until then Ill just keep coming back hoping that Ill come back and see a new chapter, I am really dying to know how it was going to end so many unanswered questions! Plus I really wanted to see spike and buffy give willow what for

I originally read this on ef and after rereading Tasha's other vampire buffy story I had Google to see if I could find a more updated version but found this instead. Really love your all's writing styles and hope you all stick with this. I wasn't overly sad that angel died lol not so much a fan of him. I do feel sorry for Cordy and Conner though.

Excellent!! I haven't been able to stop reading this since I started. Very well done! Please update this soon; this is too good to let go. I really like that Xander is in Spike and Buffy 's corner in thus stoty, and that he finally realizes that Willow has gone really overboard with the magic and her need to control everyone around her. I just wish Giles would sober up and get a clue! Great story! I will keep checking back for updates. Thank you for sharing your talents with the rest of us.
Author's Response: I'm very glad that you liked the new chapter. I just posted Chapter 17. Xander is kind of hit or miss for me. Each story that I write has to tackle him individually. Sometimes he is the bad guy (his one-way prejudices annoyed me on the show), sometimes he redeems himself after being a bad guy (happened in my story Revenge For Love), and sometimes he is more accepting fairly early on (like with this story). It just felt right for Xander to come around in this story. I like writing him not being a judgmental idiot. {chuckles}

Poor Xander, this was a big shock and he didn't even deserve it.
Author's Response: Aye about Xander. I had to think about how I really wanted to handle Xander in this. Often times he does end up being one of the "bad guys" for a story of mine. Part of that was because he was so hypocritical on the show, and it irked me. I found a way to redeem him in my stories Revenge for Love and Not Beneath Me. This time is felt like we could keep him from being the complete bad guy if he learned certain things. I am glad that you are enjoying how Xander is portrayed in this story. Thanks for the review.

I just loved the things Faith said here and she is right, I have never heard about a Slayer needing a job before.
Author's Response: Thank you. I thought Faith's speech was a pretty important part of the story. It echoed so many of the things that I felt as I watched the show. How in the world could the Council expect their slayer to survive a job and slaying? The world needs money, and leaving their slayer without an income was just irresponsible.

Author's Response: I always thought that Anya would be a huge font of knowledge, if they just utilized it. I also felt the show was pretty hypocritical about being so down on Spike and Angelus yet allowing Anya to skate though. She killed people for over 1000 years! Don't get me wrong, I love Anya. I just wish they had used her more.

Author's Response: Thank you very much for this review. I don't follow canon, obviously, but I do like to try to make the characters still feel true to the show as much as possible. I am glad that you liked how Xander was portrayed here.

I must say that I really like Valerie and I do enjoy the fact that she's working for Wolfram and Hart.
Calling Angel at this point was something I actually understood that Willow did, with the information she had.
Author's Response: I loved Valerie throughout the story. We also wanted to show that just because it was a Wolfram and Hart agency, didn't mean it was inherently over the top evil like the LA firm. Glad you agree.

Hallie took away the chip, that will make things easier for him. The vampire Buffy is clearly more into the darkness than her human self. I like that, it's better for her.
Author's Response: There are so many ways for the chip to go. With Buffy having a "need for vengeance" that I'm sure every vengeance demon felt, I thought that Hallie being the granter worked out the best. Glad you liked it. I am also glad that you like how Buffy is behaving. I think that a Slayer has both sides present, as evidenced by Faith on the show, and I think that she would be the same way as a vampire.

I just love this story! Very few stories actually get Spike's protective and loving side captured so well. And Willow going off the deep end, not a huge surprise, but it works in so well! Please tell me that there will be more to it than this!
