I still check this story for an update about once a year. Hope life is treating you well

What the hell is wrong with Joyce??? Wasn't she a great mom just 2 years ago? Why such a change? Is she on drugs? I don't like how grateful I am that Dru ordered her to take care of Connor. I feel like asking questions and trying to do something to help solve the mystery of what's really happening behind their locked door. Of course, I have a sinking feeling.

I like Westley, but his sexual behavior is unusual to me, I find him unfamiliar, so I'm exited to find out how his character will behave when all hell brakes lose. I hope Beth and Will can ruin her damn wedding!

Isnt vomiting blood the ultimate cause for concern? Why wait two week? I'm going to use a symptom checker right now to try and figure out what's wrong with Connor.

When Beth and Will talk about the future, I keep thinking about how young they are, how young the twins are. Should they manage to escape together, in a way they will be able to live out their forbidden desire if being a family, they as parents, the twins as the children they can't have. It's beautiful how selfless they are, how they've pulled together when so many families tear themselves to pieces under stressful situations.

Thank you for sharing this tale with us, for opening my eyes at least to the possibility of unconventional relationships. In the end I'm leaning towards a "live and let live" attitude towards other peoples lifestyles. Further from the judgement, even from taking it personal that we're so different. Now that I'm writing it, it seems obvious, but actually I have to train myself not to judge or to consider their emotions, it's leaving me with a calm, so I like it.

Now I'm off to watch that Attic movie.

After watching the Lifetime adaptation of the V.C. Andrews' novel, this fanfiction came to my mind. Man, I know it's been forever, but I'm still hoping you'll finish this. *crosses fingers*

The idea of the two of them together squicked me, it isn't something i would normally read but you made it so real, that i could see how this could happen with their confinement! I really love it

I absolutely loved your story. It was addicting and I found myself on more than one occasion putting off important things to read this (like right now).

For the sequel you were going to make, I hope you weren't planning on making it similar to FITA's sequel. It was absolutely horrible (no offence to those who did like it). I felt like the characters were ruined for me. I just pretend that the sequels don't even exist and that FITA is a stand-alone.

Unfortunately, I'll never get to see how this ends seeing as it's been four years since you updated. I'm going to assume that you have officially abandoned this.

I'm kind of sad yet a tiny bit relieved at the same time. I've read FITA and I have a feeling that I know which direction you were going with Connor.

I wish that this site showed when the last update is like on skyehawke. Then i could get a good idea if i hsould be checking back regualrly..or if i should just prepare myself for a long wait.
Eitehr way, the cliffie is killing me. I hope he doesn't die so bad. all i can think of is joyce putting him in a shallow grave behind teh mansion, her apathy.. Was awful. I had no idea that i would be praising the grandmother.
I would hate for this to be a cruel trick by the grandmother to manipulate the other children into following her rules.

Excellent chapter. Since I started reading this series I read all the FITA books and I know what will happen now. Poor Conner. Excellent job as always. I hope you consider writing the next story after this ends. Maybe you can make it shorter so it is not too much of a problem to you. :)
