Author's Response: Not necessarily in town, but she will hear about this. I don't like Drusilla and grew very tired of the character in season 2. I was relieved when she did not return in 3 or 4. It's just me, I suppose, as some ppl really like her character. I just have a problem with weak, clingy female characters like Drusilla and Harmony. Thank you, spuf

Wonderful moment between father and son :) Great chapter. Love this story and it's great to see an update. Love how Spike stood up for himself and didn't back down, even with the threat of losing his job at the hospital.

I loved this chapter, and the fact that Spike stood up for Buffy so strongly just made me smile. Better yet was the fact that Giles played his cards right, and got the exact reaction that he had hoped for. As for Dru and her stupid father, well I guess they will have to just eat dirt. Yay...Buffy agreed to get married! BTW..The Riley Finn "confrontation" with Buffy was spot on. Very satisfying to see Buffy finally put him in his place all on her own. Looks like William is having a wonderful affect on her : D

I must say I loved the way Buffy gave Riley the heave ho, he deserved that and more !! What an ass, to think she would possibly go back with him, especially with Spike as her intended, and what he did to her. It is good to see happiness in her future, ( and the present as well) Great job, have a wonderful vacation and thanks !!
