This was another tightly written, entertaining chapter. I love the domestic scenes you paint. Buffy and William's parenting is charming to read and feels very real. That pancake ritual was a delight. Willow's arrival was an unpleasant surprise and I think William handled it just right. He needed time to pull himself together because I bet his first instinct was screaming at the witch. Who can blame him? She's overstepped again.

Buffy filling in just what exactly had her in such a dither was clear and entertaining. She'd confronted Angel on her own. It's no wonder she was afraid of angering her husband. He would have been frightened that she'd put herself in danger.

The two of them planning for the future was an interesting conversation, working through their options calmly and rationally gave me a happy smile. The lines of communication are well and truly open. It's making me smile and hate Willow a bit less.

Now, what the frilly heck does William have up his sleeve to finally put Angel behind bars? I can't wait to find out!
