Awe, I would call it luck (or a good timing). The Bronze is still "the place" to be I guess but Spike was lucky to be there when Buffy was dancing, I'm sure he didn't expect to see her so soon again. (Loved how you included the balcony scene here, it fits.)
And maybe it was time that Spike broke down and could cry. And Buffy was there for him. Awe, loved the chapter :)

So, will he tell her about the surgery before he goes in? She'll be dreadfully worried if he disappears for a while, during the healing process.

loved it but something tells me that spike isn't gonna get the reaction that he thinks he is when buffy sees his face after surgery. i really don't think the scars mattered to her. she loved him before he got them and she still loves him now. great job. please post soon.
