Them being so close, knowing each other and yet being so far apart is so frustrating. But the good kind of frustrating when you can't wait to hear more of the story because you know when they finally get together it's going to be SOOOOO good. :D Thanks for writing and posting this chapter.

I'm loving the story so far. I like that you made Buffy come to her sense and leave Sam. I also like the more mature Faith. It must be so painful for Buffy to be faced with a seeming Spike impostor. I can't wait for more.

Author's Response: Thanks. I'm glad you like it, and what's happened with Faith. I think we saw that she was well on her way to maturing by the end of the show, and 5 years latter I think she'd be well along.

Author's Response: Yes, there will be other points of view, and the title chapters will point out the changes. And there will definitely be more Spike. Just not there yet.

Too bad that Spike isn't suspicious enough that Buffy knows something about him, what he was. But even if Buffy had explained him that he was a vampire - he wouldn't have believed her anyway.
