This is a very interesting start, there were quite a few typos, errors with the tenses and grammar but that could easily be addressed with proofreading or sending it to a couple of beta readers. Still it is an interesting beginning, it definitely did what I think all first chapters should do, which is capture the audience, pull them into the story, and hopefully make them want to read more. I shall read more but again I suggest you send it to a couple of betas, I say a couple because one can always catch what the other may have missed. Good luck.

i found this chapter a bit out of place after the last one, you have spike thinking he's in love with her and singing that song to her, then you have her catch harmony all over him, it just seemed out of nowhere for me. harmony's a slut basically, so i do believe that she just jumped him, but at this rate, i find it hard for buffy to ever really trust him and i can't say that i blame her, she doesn't seem to be getting much of a break.

Author's Response: I know it seems a bit strange but you are right Harmony is a slut so..... i want this to be a bit of a struggle for Buffy the try and trust another man but fear not all will be explained in the next chapter.

Good news regarding the demo tape for Buffy; it was good to see Buffy so happy for a moment till the memories with Parker came back. *shudders* Poor Buffy.
It didn't help too that Spike told her he had a date (and she saw him with Harmony). But at last he was honest.
