Well, what a feeble excuse for kidnapping a pair of babies! They let him off far too easily. Sweet ending, but I'm still wondering if Bex & Bella are going to develop special abilities like Connor.

Author's Response: Thanks! I agree he got off too easily, but at this point, I think killing him wouldn't have sat well for the characters. I actually felt the ending was a bit weak and may write another little epilogue with a more fitting end.

Well done Buffy for apologising to Spike, but you really shouldn't have taken it out on him in the first place! He shrugs it off as he's used to it, but he shouldn't!

I wonder what he's up to and why he considered that kidnapping their children rather than coming to talk to them about whatever the issue is would be a good idea? Author's Response: Thanks All4Spike! I needed to get a Buffy jab in there, and I figured I'd put that in there. She's freaked out, thinking she's never going to see her kids again, so I guess Spike can't hold it against her for too long.

Buffy is going to kill riely and lord please don"t let spike get turned. And i know it"s your story but can we please not have another Connor episode. let them get them back still babies. i hated that about Angel that when he got Connor back he was grown. ok i"m thru venting look forward to more.

Love the exhausted new parents bit. I think Willow's right about Xander, he never got over his crush on Buffy. He always hated the men in her life, except Riley who he reluctantly accepted because he knew she didn't love him.

Author's Response: Thanks All4Spike! Yeah, I always got the vibe that Xander's feelings were still there in the end too. I mean, yeah, Spike was a vampire, etc. but in some ways, it felt like Xander was more angry about Buffy being with Spike than Anya sleeping with him.
