But but but... Where's the rest of it...? :(

Good story, but long... probably could have split it into 3 stories & you'd have a trilogy! Still lots of typos (which, in some cases, still spell a word, so you need to check the vocab); you might want to have someone check it (again).

Also, another nit-pick: there are many instances of incorrect negative/positive statements (like it says "he tried to kill her several times over the years, but he just could do it" when it clearly should be "could not do it")... I could still tell from context, but it was confusing at first. There were really a lot of those.

Beyond the simple mechanics, I did like the story. I like a happy Spuffy tale where they figure out how to love each other, and I especially like how you didn't have to resort to making any of the friends (Xander, Willow or Angel) a villian like some stories do, but you still realistically showed them as flawed and complex characters who had to struggle with the idea of Spuffy before making peace. Also like that you could redeem Faith while she remains ambivalent... it's nuanced, in character for her and is so much more realistic than if she were suddenly totally good/loyal/humble/etc.

All in all, I really liked it... will there be more?? Feels like we need to meet the baby and see how they manage, at least at first. I mean, we haven't even learned Bitty Buffy's name yet!

Came back for a re-read of this wonderful story. Still one of the best rewrites of season 6 out there. No updates for a year? I hope you haven't abandoned it......

I've read it on Elysian Fields before, guess I will read the rest here then. Anyway it's good to have more.

I was so excited to see that you updated that I had to reread the whole story. Yeah, that just took a couple days :)

Still just as fantastic as I remembered and I'm enjoying the new installments as well. I get the feeling that the "look within" prophecy hasn't exactly been squashed yet. Or that this is something new. Hm. Either way, looking forward to more!

So glad to see this story being updated again. Love where you're going with it, although I would have preferred them to have had a more permanent solution to Travers! Hope Dana is going to be OK. Time for Buffy & Spike to find out about Connor and for Buffy to totally kick Angel's ass for the creepy stalker carousel and double standards re: vampires' babies. Can't wait.....

Author's Response: Thank you! Actually, a few chapters back, Buffy and Angel talked about Connor over the phone. It was one of the chapters in the 60s...67 or so, maybe? It's been over a year since I went over that part. I'm glad you're still enjoying the story though! Thanks!
