Sweet and Happy making.

It was a wonderful end to a turbulent, but mostly happy story.

Stumbled on this because of 'Welcome to the Neighborhood. Read it in 1 day. Loved it. :)

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this story. The William that you portray is just what I imagine the William of 1880 would have been like if he had been born into our time-frame. This story has everything I could wish for, including a very happy ending. Thank you.

Yay update! I wasn't expecting one and I'm so happy to get one. This update totally made my day! I absolutely love this story. They are so sweet together and it was great to see such a wonderful reunion. The magnetism between the two is so powerful and undeniable even Spike's girlfriend couldn't do anything about it. Can't wait to read the epilogue!

i'm very disappointed that he has a girlfriend now, i don't see this ending well, but i'm still hoping for a happy ending with these two, i think they deserve it. a part of me was really hoping that was their kid, it would have been harder for william to stay away then.

And there I'd thought that Buffy would have tried to see Spike when she turned 18.
But let me say HUH? to this chapter.
So Spike has a girlfriend again and now he meet Buffy again.
You said in your last chapter that this would be the last one. But it isn't marked as finished. Means that there is more to come?
Sad to see so much time past and now it seems as if it is too late.

Ok your forgiven that makes a lot more sense for her leaving. Obviously Ted got Dawn back when she messed up so I am still not happy with her for being so stupid and messing up with her aunt but I can understand why she turned down his proposal and why she ran. It would have been nice and better if she would have opened up to William to get his advise and to let him know what was going on but she knew she did him wrong by lieing about her age so she had a reason to not want to tell him.

So I read your reviews and I have to say that the 1st poster is an absolute angst wimp! Angst is what makes the heart beat and break, it what puts the passion in a story! And this story definitely has plenty of passion. It makes so much sense that she's a minor! Don't know why I didn't figure it out before. That is how a lot of teenage girls would react if they were keeping such a secret from their lover and trouble was coming her way, just running. She does only have a year until 18, maybe she can go to college in Portland and surprise him! Chase after him. Also, awful Ted got only 6 years, the rat bastard, hopefully he'll get shanked in prison. Loving the story!

This is so weird to read. Do you realize that outside the US noone would give s damn about this age combination, much less end a loving relationship?
I´m living in a really small hicktown, but even here noone would even raise an eyebrow or care in any way.

Author's Response: Yes I am aware of that. But the story is set in the US and I researched laws in California before writing this. Giles is also being uber protective of a girl who was in a bad situation. Hope this doesnt totally turn you off the story.

What? Why? What? It was going so good, why did she leave? Was it because of Dawn? Couldn't she have told him? Is there a note? It's so sad? Actually, my heart breaks for William, but it breaks more for Buffy that she would hurt herself and them in such a way. Update soon please!
