I like how she kept the gift and didn't let the fact of her initial response keep her from what she wanted. I can't wait to read of their travels and arrival to the King. But it is a wait I'm willing to endure to read the every day needed occurances that you write so well.

I like this story but there are a couple of things that don't sound right. They keep calling William "your Grace" but they would only call him that to his face, if they were talking about him and he wasn't there it would be "his Grace" and I don't think Buffy would call her father Lord Summers-she would say "my father"-even though I'm English I'm no expert on old customs so I stand to be corrected

Author's Response: Thank you about the Your Grace and His Grace faux pas. I went back and change this is all the chapters. there wasn't many, but one is too many. As for Elizabeth calling her father by his title, she does so when she is referring to him. It's a sign of respect. Numerous movies that I have seen about this time period, when it comes to nobility children, they do call their parents by their titles, especially when they are older. It's a sign of respect. During the earlier chapters, she does call him father, but also Lord. She does so more to irk him and be disrespectful. In this past chapter, she did so for respect, especially since she was talking about him, not to him.

Awesome chapter! Peace definitely did not last long, but it was for the best. If she didn't get so angry with him again, he might have taken longer to realize she's the woman for him! Definitely going to be a battle though, but with the way you write, I'm sure it's going to be VERY entertaining.

Within mere moments, Lady Elizabeth had taken his once firm beliefs and scattered them to the winds. This tiny, but fierce creature with a sharp tongue and wit, stirred his loins and mind completely. Never before, had these two halves of his being, intertwined. *nods* Elizabeth is one of a kind. Not sure how the kind would have taken a rejection....

Good that Elizabeth won't change her ways when it comes to William, he enjoyed her the way she was a lot. Must be refreshing for him.

And look there, they can get along. :)

Another great chapter and another great banner. It does appear that her bite has soften him. But then again it would be too much if they only fought in anger without some niceties.

An olive branch that twines the two together in a newfound understanding of each other. Now that William acknowledges that Elizabeth is more than just a plaything fit for domestic servitude, things may get more interesting. Elizabeth will need his guidance once she enters the realm of the King's Court . I wonder if she has any inkling as to what is expected of her to please the King. Hope that what lays ahead will bring William and Elizabeth closer together. Look forward to more.
