Poor thing torn between two worlds, two Spikes! even. So very hard to choose. Can only wonder which one will be real in the end, which one she will choose. And if you'll even let us know if she was right. Love the fact that I can't figure it out. :) Update soon.

This story breaks my heart in a good way, if that makes sense. I can't decide which world I want to be real. I think I really want Buffy to go back to William but then I worry about everyone else. I hope if she goes back then Spike can convince the others to let her go. Or if she stays, she can see William in Spike but then he might always feel that she wishes she was somewhere else. It's so hard to think which would be better for Buffy, I don't know how you'll decide or how you've made a decision but I know you'll handle it wonderfully no matter what you decide.

I am so torn from wanting her to go back to a great life with mom and dad and fiance William to staying and accepting Spike for being a vampire and become lovers only not ashamed. I don't know which world I want her to stay in.

This chapter was a bit heartwrenching. The dialogue and emotion going on between Buffy and Spike as she told him about the other world and then when he left at the end made me feel really sad for Spike. Great chapter, though. If you can get my emotions going that definitely means it was good.

Author's Response: Well, everyone's experience appears to be different. One of my betas felt it should be a bigger deal, with a lot of bleeding. The rest of us felt that would hardly be noticeable in a formerly athletic girl. There would, however, likely be some tissue to tear if she's never had anything bigger than finger (if that, in Buffy's case) in there. One way or another, if something hasn't torn it earlier, it has to be stretched or torn the first time. Granted, a hard push wouldn't be necessary in most cases, but in others it could be a big deal. I chose to make Buffy's noticeable, but not difficult.
