that was an interesting chapter - starts off with love, then morphs into a hell for spike and buffy, goes into a pergatory-like place, then for a few chosen moments there are compassion and realization, and then back to love. definitely quite a ride!

Well that resolves a few things. Good to see him back on the mission, and back on the mission based on the opinions of some of the powers. A pretty good start in the right direction. And we will soon get to figure out what may or may not have happened with the help of the others. I do wonder if there are still vengence demons in this world now, or if they're still gone, cause I've got to wonder what Cecily could do this time around if left to it. Awesome. Update soon!

Poor Anya. I hope they will get through this. I can't wait to see how the Scooby meeting will go:) The bathroom scene was absolutely lovely. It really showet the love between Buffy and Spike. Buffy seems to be adjusting really well to the new situation.

Okay, forgot to mention to the last chapter that I knew that Spike would never kill his children from the past. Though I have to wonder who created and writes the comics Avengelyne? Wasn't Spike a writer in this verse? Money being an issue in this new reality, why can't Spike and Buffy dredge up some of the treasure the gem of Amara was with. They could even be an antiquities dealer considering the demons they kill who leave valuable weaponry and/or jewelry behind. Throws crumpled up pieces of paper at the head of your muse with suggestions for money making ideas such as nightly ghost tours of Sunnydale's cemetaries to tourists complete with anti-vampire kits consisting of ultra-violet ray flashlights, holy water and wooden stakes. Puts brick inside the crumpled paper to het his attention.

Author's Response: Hi again! I actually thought about having Spike draw those comics rather than just 'nick them' but the story was already sooooo long that I let that go. Those comics only ran a short while, there weren't a lot of issues that I could find ... perhaps Spike could resurrect them.

There are several ways Spike and Buffy will try to make some more money (which I *think* is what my muse has in mind for the next story arc) and selling treasures could be part of it... although first I think there may be some violence (I'm thinking demon -no-holds-barred UFC fights maybe ...) ... I love Spike being all demony and manly ... fighting, kicking ass, winning prize money ... Buffy, won't let it go for long, I'd wager, but he's gonna have to do that. Darn, did I just give away part of the plot!? Shoot! My Blue Eyed muse definately has some money making ideas for the Weckerlys ... never fear! {{ducks your brick and glares at you}} just for that, he may add some angst in to the next story, too! shoots you a raspberry!

I knew it!!!:D I knew he would't kill his own children. Loved this chapter and the way it all came together. So sweet that hr looked for Avengelyne for such a long time and that he didn't want to tell Byffy because he didn't want her to feel like he was setleling (don't know if that is the way that word is written). I'm so thrilled there is another update. I will save it for tomorrow. It's nice to have something to look forward to ;)

So He didn't kill them, I was wondering about that, Dru could have been with him at the time or something like that. Does this mean that we have a Spike or William lookalike like in the other timeline? This means that there is nothing more for Buffy to try to fix. Well mayby get 5 years of memories. Anyway something bad will happen, you more or less said so. I just have to wait and see.

Poor Buffy how horrible to not have the memories of the last five years. Well it's logical, these five years was she hunting vengeance demons and that's what she remember. Buffy will have to tell Spike most of what she have done he won't settle for anything less. Buffy will of course try to save the other children, but what will that lead too? Another big questien, will Hallie do something? she hasn't been killed in this timeline so she should be alive. Time travel is really a lot of troubles.

Home sweet home! Isn’t that what evil Spike said when he ran over the Sunnydale welcome sign? Buffy is pretty much like the sign, mowed down by this new reality. It appears that Hallie’s wish is still in motion, causing misery to Spike over his dead human family. Obviously this altered reality has its downfalls, what with the lack of wealth that Spike originally had before Hallie’s wish. It is still unclear as to how “Hallie rat” became human again to make her wish and which v’demon granted it? Buffy never did get a straight answer to all of that when she annihilated the vengeance demons. Will Buffy accept this reality and not go further with “making things right” or will she try to go back in time to kill Cecily as she originally intended? Only your evil muse knows and he is not telling!

Author's Response: Hi Vette ... yes, that is exactly what Spike said when he came to town - the first words ever uttered by our blondie bear in Sunnyd... and you';re right, at this point Buffy definately must feel like that sign!

We'll explore Hallie's wish further as the story goes ... we still have a few more chapters, not sure if we'll ever know the answer to who helped Hallie ... well, not until they come back and do something else to our Spuffy couple! You'll find some of the answers to your question on what Buffy will do to fix the deaths of the other children in the chapter I just posted ... And don't feel bad, my evil muse often doesn't even tell *me* what he's planning until he types it on the screen for me! LOL! Sad but true ...
