Brilliant play…Good Lord! A world without chocolate is like a world without scrunchies, shrimp or a world of nothing but bunnies! Too horrid to imagine! So glad that Bess returned home, that took a lot of courage. Hope that the family lets her know just how much they missed her and hope that Angelpie loves meeting her new extended family. Judy don’t let Clem get any ideas of gambling with her. So, what presents did Bess receive? Will we get to see her open them? I hope so. Your evil muse must be setting us up for more heartache. He tortures us like Angelus, first with the happy…then with the horror. Did Bess bring her own presents for her family? If not, then she can perform for them as part of her gift to them. Look forward to the next chapter.

How do you do it?!? The Christmas play was brilliant!! I lack the vocabulary to tell you how much I loved it!!! And then to top everything off with bringing Bess home. Should I be worried about your muse? Not that I'm complaining you understand but I think something may be wrong with him because this chapter was so lacking in the angst. You don't ever have to apologize for too many pictures of Spike. It's simply not possible to have too many, I’m sure Buffy would agree with me on this. Thanks for one of your best ever!! I do think my muse might've been smoking some wacky-weed when he wrote this ... it's quite out of character! Either that or he's lulling us into a false sense of security before he drops a bomb on us. :O There are some readers that appreciate a good Buffy picture or two ... I couldn't believe it when I saw I did almost all Spike! With his sexy wounds, no less! heehee! Well she's a bit crazy, bv that can be good. She get angry fast but forgive fast. Some fights, some angst and some nice moments, a good chapter. I can't help but somehow like the loanshark, you made him well. It was good that Anya came up with a solution so they can use the money. Since they are living real lives they can't suddenly have money without any official reason.

I know everyone hated him at first, with all his threats and jacking the amount Spike owed, but I think he's really a fairly nice guy, just in a questionable business that requires a certain reputation to be successful. Yeah, I try to keep some of the reality of living in the real world in here. I totally hated things in canon like in s6 Buffy had to work double shifts at the burger joint just to survive, but in s7 she worked part time at the school and was fine? And then supported all those Potentials, too? Someone needed to explain that to me! Oh well ... Glad that Buffy decided to bet on her favorite vampire even though she was mad at him – wise move! The fight club should sell DVD’s of their fights to their clientele, maybe Buffy could use her phone to record the Spike’s next fight and have the slayers go and sell them like Girl Scout cookies to the friendly demon community. In the TV series Spike had a minion video record Buffy when she was fighting, I think he got aroused when he viewed the footage and I can imagine that any recording of slayers fighting would have the same aphrodisiac effects on Sunnydale’s demon clientele. Maybe the girls could wear costumes like cowgirl or waitress outfits to sell the product! I’m totally off topic here, damn your muse for making want to make money for the Weckerly’s! Glares at him. Loved how Anya cooked up a plan to launder the winnings into useable cash - even dragged Giles into it with a gentle nudge. Well, I think that Buffy and Spike need to go shopping for non-flammable clothing for Spike’s next bout. Could he dress like a firefighter for the match? Eyes glaze over thinking of a calendar of Spike wearing different blue collar outfits. Gives your sinister muse a wish list of sexy uniforms for Spike and/or slayers to wear put him to work on that! Fire is operative word in this segment of their lives, a prophecy that state’s “the seer of truth is ‘a daughter of fire” and now Spike’s biggest bout is with Pele who has the power of fire, someone’s gonna get burned! Bites fingernails thinking about it.

Spike owes Willow a bouquet of flowers for being such a good friend to them both and loaning money when they need it. Willow not allowing Buffy to overlook her own transgressions is priceless and just what a good friend would do. I wonder if Faith (her name says it all) placed her own bet on Spike unbeknownst to Buffy. Will Buffy bet for or against Spike? Well, love may stink but to make sure she gets something out of the fight, she could split the bet down the middle on both opponents (if that is allowed). How Spike plans to cut off the head of his opponent is a mystery, unless he plans on breaking the plexiglas window and using it as a sharp object. Buffy kissing Faith may lead to Faith wanting to kiss Spike to do a comparison test to see who smooches the best! Your muse is really quite the tease throwing in the kiss as a diversion. Is there a spell to make mansions impervious to destruction? After they discover how to make a gem of amarra for Spike, they may want to make for F.L. Wright’s Ennis house a Mayan architectural artifact to protect it. Love stinks but your cliff hanger does too!

I totally loved Willow's talk, I could just hear her so clearly through that - she's a great friend (to both of them) and has known Buffy long enough to be able to say those things to the Slayer in a way that won't get her head knocked off ... :) I personally wouldn't mind a little Faith kissage of Spike ... not sure how Buffy would feel about it, tho! She's not the prude she once was but not sure she's quite that open minded about her man. Willow did a good job with the talk but what Spike did was much worse than what Buffy has done. He could have borrowed money from Willow and then the family wouldn't have been in danger. And he should have said something to Buffy. If he had died she wouldn't have known anything and the loanshark would still come to collect.
She will bet on Spike of course why else change the odds? But I don't remember this demon so I just have to wait and see.
Anyway, a Buffy/Faith kiss, very nice :-)

If he would have just borrowed the money from Willow - of course he would've had to tell Buffy about it then ... which would've been the *smart* thing to do... Nice christmas part but the first picture told me it wouldn't end well. Buffy reacted as expected, and I can't blame her. Spike has trouble with thinking things through, he acts first and then don't think. Buffy will forgive him, after some time but it isn't just the lies, it's the he put the family in that makes this so bad. Spike has done a lot of stupid things but this is probably the worst.
If Buffy let him in the house again then I guess she will stop him from fighting, if not, he will probably keep fighting. Taking his place seems unlikely, she will think about the children

Your evil muse has donned his Grinch outfit and ruined the happy moment the Weckerly family was enjoying. I’m sure at this moment he is happily dipping candy canes into cod liver oil and removing batteries from toys. Blue boy is set to name the home into “the mansion of misery” and now they have more repairs to make on their place. Since they are borrowing money from Willow, they may as well have her put some magic around the mansion to prevent violence like Lorne had at Clarita’s. Also, they should look into an alarm system around the perimeter of the property like the wicca’s did around the magic box against Glory on the TV series. I feel for Spike, for all of his good intentions, he broke Buffy’s trust, but she is also keeping her own secrets too! Pot…kettle black! The shark has to pay, he has been toying with Spike by threatening his family and even though business is business, how would he like it if his family were threatened. Hints to your muse to have Spike grab a baby shark and threatened to serve it up as sushi! Only then would “seal breath” understand how vulnerable he can be too! Hope that Spike and Buffy can let cooler heads prevail and know that when it comes to protecting your loved ones (such as Spike did for Bess) that there are not right or wrong answers. Channeling thoughts of Hannibal Lector to your muse to heat up some fava beans and a nice Chianti to eat with shark liver!

My letter to Santa Claus….Dear Santa, please leave a lump of coal and some “happy pills” for Passion4Spike’s evil & sinister muse. Oh, don’t forget to leave some restraining chains and a ball gag to keep him under control. I don’t think Mrs. Claus would mind loaning hers to him to keep him under control. Love Vette. Honestly! Your muse pulled out all the tear-jerking moves from the kids writing to Santa to Buffy and Spike feeling inadequate to providing Christmas prezzies for their children. Spike thinking that he lost the fight and wallowing in despair really was heart wrenching. Buffy better patent her scrunchie invention before someone beats her to it (glares at Anya). The council could invest in Buffy’s scrunchie invention by placing an order for a slayer branded scrunchie (stake pattern) complete with Velcro for attaching a wooden hair stick for a backup stake. Bess is being all secretive with her anti-spyware magical mojo. Sounds like she is setting roots in Cleveland though I really she returns to Sunnydale to bond to her family. If all else fails in buying gifts for the kids, they could always resort to buying a puppy, I’m sure Angelpie wouldn’t mind another pet to play with if Bess ever returns home to her family.
