Great chapter, it was a nice change of pace to see Spike seek out Buffy. Can't wait for more!

That was really lovely. The sexual tension between them was so intense; the pizza thing was just adorable and funny. I love the line about the best, most impressive cookie. It's such a real bit of dialogue, you can picture SMG saying it and its inherently humorous. Love that when she goes away he misses her--and she seems guileless about this, too. That being unavailable increases desirability. Or maybe she did, but I don't think she'd use Joyce's illness to get laid. That's just evil.

I just love there self reflection. She's gonna marry him and he's gonna push her away. Too bad she's way more persistent with a better history of successful plans. :) Okay, that's actually not too bad at all. Can't wait for more banter, and to see who breaks first! Update soon!

Gotta admire a woman who knows what she wants. :D Looks like she's slowly wearing down his defenses and I LOVE the slow burn between them!! Author's Response: Aww...Spike is not completely nuts. He is 26 years old and works as a mechanic, a nineteen year old college girl is a risky choice. There are both practical issues and a lot of insecurities at play there. I don't know what country you are from but in the U.S. a lot of bars don't allow underage folks to even come in. For a guy like Spike, who is used to hanging out and playing pool most nights, a girl that can't even come in... Of course there are more important things and she'll wear him down, but his general policy of not dating girls who are much younger is a solid one. He's trying to be a good guy. He doesn't know he is in a porny romance story yet. ;) Thank You!!

Loving this one. It's just too funny with Buffy trying to wear Spike down. Wonder what she will make him next?

I had to laugh that Buffy makes better cookies than Gunn's mother.
She is a woman with a cause..mind made up and Spike seems to be it..
Now Buffy knows that he likes the "good girl" look-her look.
Seems she is wearing him down since he is already expecting her tomorrow and might be a little disappointed if she didn't show up.. maybe even worried.

Hee... this had me smiling from beginning to end. :D It just tickles me to see poor Spike so frustrated and Buffy so decided to 'wear him down'. *gg* It was also a lot of fun to read the banter between Gunn and Spike. I love this story so much and seeing a new update always gets me excited. Can't wait for more!! :)
